-
this show is probably sold out eh ?
-
some ser sit-ins in both direction are what i\'m after when i show up that night. i\'m expecting a great night from both bands.
-
i love acoustic breakfast and have been advocating a live album for quite some time now.
An acoustic live album would be a VERY good idea and I think would appeal to a wide audience.
-
If so that totally makes sense and is very surprising to hear. It means they are actually paying attention to who they are playing for.
That or they just want to play and get the **** out which is easier with acoustic instruments.
Probably the latter.
Hey Leith, I love you and all...but...go spooge in a flannel!! It was totally the band\'s choice. And a VERY smart choice it was. And, I tell ya, what they are doing acoustic these days with def. get people\'s attention.

Hey old man read it again. I posted it would be a good idea to play acoustic for the type of audience that will be there.
Then when it was posted it was the band\'s idea I posted again that totally makes sense. the other part was obviously a joke. **** are you that old???[/QUOTE]
 It\'s just that I\'m getting sick of the people that have no clue. The more I
...ya know what, **** it. I\'m not going to even bother.

i was told that this was at the breakfast request. i think it\'s a fine idea , especially for the venue.

I\'ve been working on making this a reality. I think climbing Everest might be easier!

yeeesh, tough crowd
i love acoustic breakfast and have been advocating a live album for quite some time now. i think its fantastic that they want more than just the local fans to hear how well their music translates to an acoustic show!

I bet those were the conditions of TLG in a weak effort to prevent everyone from jumping ship.
Bah I\'ll put Coffee Bean Brown up against The Breakfast acoustic any day, any hour, any minute, any second, of the week.
what does that even mean?
It means I would rather hear Coffee Bean Brown than acoustic Breakfast is all.
The idea that having The Breakfast play acoustic for TLG\'s sake is ridiculous and if TLG decided to play as CBB The Breakfast would be screwed in comparison and would leave the non.info crowd less impressed.
Luckily TLG is playing as TLG and the Breakfast not playing their electric show which can be pretty obnoxious to first timers can only work in their favor winning new fans from the Leafers in attendence. Though there are quite a few over on the TLG forum bummed they are not getting electric Breakfast.
they are tea leaf accoustic. get real leith
I am real. When they play acoustic they do so under the moniker of Coffee Bean Brown if you have any sense of linguistics you can see where they got the name.

did anyone order tickets from tealeafgreen.com and get them yet? i still have not received mine and the tracking #\'s for usps never work.
You\'re ****, tealeafgreen.com has a tracker that lets them know when someone from thebreakfast.info visits and if they happen to buy a ticket they just keep the money.
Sorry man.
For Ser though Musictoday blows and we Leafers have been begging them to change but nooooo.
If you have any trouble you will be taken care of no worries. As a last resort if needed give me a call.

Yeah, they\'re probably scared of The Breakfast.

i dont think this is necessarily a bad thing, there are a lot of breakfast tunes that i love acoustic! they can really work with this and i think make a pretty good impression on the TLG folks...

epic set coming up
Totally. Reed Loves The Breakfast. Every time I have discussed The Breakfast with Reed(which has been a few) he gets real excited. He is stoked on the new line-up.

epic set coming up

Is Reed back with the leaf?
Reed Mathis on Bass for June, July, August, and most of September. Steve Adams on Bass for one or two shows in August, one week in September, and the month of October.

wow. :chin:
-
D-Man is better to one side or the other imo. there is little interaction between striker and chris. with timmy in the middle he gets into a lot of good grooves and interaction with both chris and matt. chris center was okay at IH and sterling but I would like to see D-Man holding down the left side pocket at the EC. prolly will be.
-
ive missed the last 5 shows and im not really sure. matt was on the left at sullys, and i think tim was all the way on the right in burlington. i cant rememer who was where at stone church.
-
3rd row center section on trevor side! i cant wait!!
so what side is that for the breakfast?
usually chris\'s side, but it will probably be matts side for this show depending on how Bfast sets up the stage around TLG\'s equipment. left side if you are looking at the stage
its funny this has been brought up, becuase the last show i saw TB at (iron horse), they had chris in the middle, matt on left, and tim on right...have they been doing more of this setup at any recent shows?

wow, this is going to be a sick show. I have never been to this venue. Anyone have any picture of this place?
-
Living in Weston, this is about as close as a show can get...too bad i\'ll be living in Portchester come 7/1.
-
gonna be at this one leith?
When I found out about this a couple weeks ago I was very pissed as it\'s MY **** BIRTHDAY and as much as it would be the ultimate, flying out for one show is ridiculous.
I\'ll just have to get Sabec to have them open for TLG out here at The Fillmore or something to make it up to me.
come in on friday for sullivan hall....hope for something from timmy tour on saturday(jakes or sparrows?) and then this on sunday. ;)
-
wow leith too bad, that would be one hell of a party!
hope your lakers can win tonight. I want to see this go to 7.
