Ah yeah, little by little it\'s all trickling back. Zerk, wish you could have made this one, it\'s good to see you\'re still kicking it. If you run into Jon and Nina send \'em my blessings. Good people. As for the show, the switch at the end let me catch Adrian on keys for the first time. I swear, there ain\'t nothing this band can\'t pull off. Matt lays out a smooth ass bass and for meeting/seeing Chris for the first time he has my full approval. Ron, I miss you mucho man and you\'ll never be forgotten, however, if anyone was to fill your shoes this is the guy. Tim was all around having a **** good time. It\'s very apparent that he feeds Matt some wicked duals and Matt always answers back. Chris and Adrian never miss a beat (even when Adrian\'s playing off the wall, water pipes, and thermostat covers) - but overall, I have never heard The Breakfast vocally more sound. I believe I used the word Chime more Thursday night then I should have allowed myself, but it\'s true. They\'ve re-invented rad 80\'s music without making it tacky - no windbreakers, fannypacks, makeup, or leather. Can\'t wait to see a new CD together with the more recent jams. Keep it up guys, and don\'t forget Iowa\'s still on the map... even if we carry a population of 20.

Sorry I don\'t have a setlist for you, the show was unreal though. Totally worth the O.W.I. on the way home. I would do it again in a heartbeat to hear last night once again. Lots of new tunes that I haven\'t had a chance to hear before, but I\'m loving where the sounds going. Never seen the The Breakfast play a stronger show in my life, even if there was only ~25 peps in and out.
* Highlight = Beef Barley with R2D2 tease.
I too would love to eventually see a setlist that may jog a memory. All I remember as of now is paper work and thumbprints.

I can help out w/ detours for the WI show from our DOT site, but not sure about Iowa. I sure hope this is still gonna happen w/ a little creative road travel....

you can pick the route you want to take and see what the closures/detours are.
So if the band plays Indy and then heads to Iowa City, they would likely try and take W74 to W80 and get off the highway on south hwy 1, Right on Iowa st, Left on Linn St.
According to the map, there are no closures on 74 around Davenport to get to 80, no closures on 80, and no closures on 1.
As long as you don\'t go as far west as Hwy 6 (Riverside Dr. which is along the west side of the river)) you should be ok.
US 6 in both directions: Road closed to traffic.
Between State Route 1 East and State Route 1 West. The road is closed to traffic, because of flooding, consider using an alternate route.
Comment: Johnson County: U.S. 6 is closed from Burlington Street to IA 1 within the City of Iowa City.

Right now I-80 is closed about 10 miles east of us, but I have talked with people that figured out how to get around it, I just don\'t know how they did it. You could possibly take Highway 6 or maybe I-80 will be open by then. Otherwise, we are still above water here.

hey ya\'ll. i was planning to head out. However, i have a friend in Iowa City that says that the flooding in the city right now is pretty bad, and that they even have I-80 east closed off. He said that the flood is expected to peak on wednesday. If anyone can find any information from people close to town to let us know alternative routes into the venue coming from the east, please let us know. According to mapquest, we would be arriving just around 10-1030pm and do not want to be delayed, as i want to tape it.

I hate money.
I remember this place in \'05, night after best show ever in Madison (killer Rufus and a Mooboo\'s taboot). It\'s alright, kind of a speak-easy basement feel. Low ceilings, pretty nice bar in the back of the room, really cool people running the joint/smoking joints with the band.
Too bad for me they\'re not going to be a little bit closer and on a different night. $$$$ has a firm grip on my junk at the moment, **** sucks.
