In case nobody else has noticed, this is an excellent album. As I figured, the pairing of Beck and Danger Mouse is an absolute slam dunk.

More Beck Album Details Emerge
Beck\'s short, sharp shock of a new album coming out this summer (via XL & Interscope) has a few more details attached to it, thanks to a report from Rolling Stone\'s Rock Daily blog.
The report, confirmed by Beck\'s publicist, states that the record\'s tentative title is Modern Guilt and that it features the following songs: "Modern Guilt", "Beggars Shoes", "Chem Trails", and "Walls", the latter featuring featuring Cat Power.
The album also marks the end of Beck\'s record deal with Interscope. As for what\'s next, Beck told Rolling Stone, "I don\'t have any plans at the moment. It\'s anybody\'s guess where things are going week to week with the music business."

This sounds like a great pairing, even though I really do hate The Grey Album.
+1
Other than the grey album Danger Mouse is great. Anyone catch his collaboration with MF Doom?

from pitchfork:
Cat Power Appears on New Beck Album
Said album might be appearing sooner than you think
Following in the footsteps of Radiohead, Trent Reznor (twice!), the Raconteurs, Gnarls Barkley, and himself, Beck plans to release his new Danger Mouse-produced LP quite quickly-- in the next four to six weeks, to be exact, according to MTV.com
Universal Music Group wouldn\'t confirm anything, but we discovered that one of MTV\'s claims is very much true: the new Beck album will indeed feature contributions from Chan "Cat Power" Marshall. Hopefully in a more notable capacity than Beth Orton on Midnite Vultures, eh?
