Title: Setlist: [Tim Solo Acoustic] 2008-05-03; Jake\'s, Wallingford, CT
Post by: DocEllis70 on May 05, 2008, 10:38:28 am
i got there late, but the ones i heard he complimented Tim real well and he created a nice background for Tim to jam over. Jakes is a big room where Tim has a lot of space unlike BAR Richters or Anna Liffeys so the baby grand piano was perfect and sounded great in the room.

 I initially thought the guy on piano (Joe Grieco) was Matt...

easily in the top 5 tim shows i\'ve ever seen. Joe Grieco was not only a nice surprise, but was absolutely terrific. he actually played a couple sets of his own before tim went on, and he had me hooked at Hallelujah (Leonard Cohen).

I think i said it to you, but can\'t we pocket up the little piano man and randomly bring him out for tim shows???

He was awesome.  Great time at Jake\'s.  It sucked i had to leave early and miss the third set. LOOOVED in the summertime.   That put me in the mood for freaking summer, wherever it is.
