And how would they do that? Pass out $600 gas cards instead? Cut the gas tax? I definitely agree that this tax refund is NOT going to do our country any good at all. Though it will help places like China and India which produces many goods for our country. :sigh:
Best thing they could have done was taken all the money from these rebates and relieved our astronomical gas prices. That would have saved me about $50-$100 per week for the year... and would\'ve much better use of the money rather than foolish spending.

You got it! As soon as it came in I used about half to totally overpay for Radiohead tickets. Invested the other half. Good compromise.
