Alton Kelley best known for his 60\'s art work with Stanley Mouse created the "60\'s style" by making posters for venues such as The Filmore West and The Avalon Ballroom.  Alton is the creator of the artwork on many Grateful Dead albums including the skulls and roses on "American Beauty".  He later went on to do albums by Journey, Steve Miller and more.  His art is immediately recognizable and has become a symbol of the psychadelic era.

Alton, who is the brother-in-law of my cousin recently has become ill and has had to have many sugeries in Ca.  My cousin\'s wife Kathy, who is Alton\'s sister, asked me to send him a get well message to help lift his spirits.  Since there is such a great connection to his art and the music we all have in common I thought maybe some of you would like to send well wishes to Mr. Kelley.

Here\'s a link to page that will give you access to his hospitol guestbook.
