It\'s good that she was able to help her into the light...
well said... peace and love being transmitted as forcefully as i can...
Thanks. As some of you already know.....
My mom was diagnosed with bone cancer is September of 2007. It has been a very hard road for her. I left New York in Feb.to come back to Kansas to be with her. She passed away on Tuesday morning. I\'m so glad that she is not suffering any longer. I\'ve had so long to prepare for this, but it sure as hell didn\'t make it any easier. This is by far the hardest thing I\'ve ever gone through. I feel like I\'ve lost part of myself. I will never understand why someone so kind and giving had to go through what she did. Sorry if my words are a little mixed. My head is in a thousand places right now.
Thanks for all the calls, texts and kind words. It really means a lot.
Not a Mothers Day weekend I\'m looking forward too.

As some of you may know, Tonya moved back to Kansas to help take care of her ill mother. Unfortunately, this morning her mother lost the battle and she passed away. Send some good vibes out her way.

Sorry to hear, Ryan. Your niece is in my thoughts. I really feel for you and your family.
I feel like I hear about so many people with illnesses. It really breaks my heart. Even when i don\'t know them. And especially, when i do. My mother was diagnosed last week with M?ni?re\'s Disease. I really haven\'t talked about it with anyone cause i still don\'t understand it myself. It seems almost crazy. She is slowly losing hearing in her right ear. It also gives her constant vertigo and ringing. Its just so painful for her. :( She\'s only 52. And has to get a hearing aid. The odds of her being completely deaf by the time she is a senior are unbelievable. And they are still doing scans in the next few weeks to rule out that a tumor is causing it. I am always worried about my 82 year old Nanny getting ill, I never thought my mother. Makes you really reexamine life.......
My prayers are with your mom... I\'m somewhat familiar with the disease... The main thing is to get the vertigo under control... I believe keeping stress levels down and lowering caffeine with the Dr.s give should help... Keep on keeping on and stay positive...

My niece is once again in need of positive vibes. She\'s back in the hospital with pneumonia and they can\'t seem to keep her hydrated. So regardless of how you feel about me, send the positive vibes, prayers or whatever this way so that she can get better.

Best wishes for your fam Yoda

I\'m continuing this thread because my grandmother is now in the hospital with pneumonia and advanced parkinsons. I went to see her last night and she just didn\'t look good. I just hope that she gets better quickly or I guess quick and painless is the key words.

Awe, my heart goes out to you. I seriously love my nanny to pieces and i would be beyond heart broken if I had to see her suffer. Your grandmother is in my prayers.....

My Niece Came Home Yesterday!!!!

I\'m sorry Ryan. More than one person should have to take.
-
Got a call yesterday. She spiked a fever last night, so the infection is not gone. They\'re running a barrier of tests to find out what\'s causing the fever. It looks like she\'s not coming home this week. That being said, she\'s in the best possible place to help her out. This kid can\'t catch a break.

keep it going brother......glad thiings are better!

I am a new dad and fortunately, my daughter is healthy (knock on wood). I give all the credit in the world to my brother and sister-in-law; they\'ve got more strength than I could ever imagine that I have.

Great news!

I\'m so glad to hear that Ryan. Hopefully you and the rest of the family can breathe a bit easier now, and I\'m sure the little lady will be glad to be home.
:D

All you prayers, thoughts, hugs and positive vibes have worked wonders. Unfortunately, the doctors had to remove my niece\'s colon because that was the source of the infection. But the doctors have been so pleased with her progress since that they moved her into a regular pediatric wing earlier this week and it looks like she\'s going to be coming home within the next couple of days.

Sounds like she is a tough little gal. Stay positive; your family is in my thoughts.

That\'s for all of the prayers and vibes. I\'ll let my brother know when I talk to him tonight. Things seem to be looking a little better, so of. She\'s still stabilized but they moved her to the babies at Columbia - so she\'s getting the best care. I\'ve got all my fingers and toes crossed.
-
sending them hew way.

hope all turns out well for the little one..

great to hear that things are better. keep as upbeat as you can and know you\'re in our thoughts!!!

I know that I haven\'t been the most positive, upbeat or even supportive person on this board, but you all please send your prayers, positive thoughts and good vibes to my niece Ella Jane. Yesterday she was brought into the hospital and the doctors found out that she had massive infections and went into septic shock. I don\'t know much about it other than what I found online, but it looks like the survival rate for septic shock is 50%. My niece was born having seisures and shortly after lost her gag reflex, which has forced her to have a permanent feeding tube put in. Less than six months ago, she had to have hip dysplasia surgery. Ella is a little over 1-1/2 years old and has had to fight her whole life. For the sake of my brother and his wife and all of my family, God, I hope she comes out on the positive side of that 50%. No parent should have to bury a child. So, please, keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
Ryan (6:30 AM)
We just got news from my mother. Ella has stabilized and her blood pressure is getting better. She\'s not out of the woods, but this is a good sign. Thanks in advance for the positive energy.
