thanks todd, but I don\'t want robyn getting jealous.
-
My neighbor can copy VHS>VHS. I\'m looking to buy one to go VHS>DVD.
-
Copies? Transfers? Yikes. I have no idea how to do any of that. Can anyone out there make copies of VHS tapes? That\'s, like, a serious talent in this day and age. That\'s like finding someone who knows how to use a loom, or how to joust, or who owns a working Nintendo...
PS - Working Nintendos are indeed rare. That\'s why there\'s Virtual Console on Wii. Download the classics and have fun. :)
I actually own two working Nintendos AND a Wii! :)

yea, but I asked the band before I taped them that night. I just don\'t know if they want it released or not. I\'ll have to email him.
And just let me transfer it. If you bring over wolfs copy it\'s going to be down a generation because of the VHS transfer and I still have the master DV tape.

i won\'t tell them if you won\'t

From tka\'s link:
Video Taping - Videotaping is NOT permitted at ANY Brothers Past performance with out the prior expressed written permission of the Band. Any requests to videotape a performance of Brothers Past must be made at least one week prior to the performance to be taped. In order to obtain permission to videotape a performance, please email a written proposal to Matt Shein.
- Anyone caught videotaping at a Brothers Past performance will forfeit the ownership of the tape immediately and runs the risk of being removed from the show.

Does anyone know if brothers past allows video trading
They have the same basic rules as PB. So, as long as it\'s not being sold, I see no problem. Their policy is here (http://www.brotherspast.com/taping.html). You could also contact Matt Shein (mattshein@brotherspast.com) just to make sure.

I can make the transfer if needed. I have a SVHS/MiniDV deck hooked up to my computer. If I can\'t get Avid to run on Vista (it\'s been a while since I edited at home), I can bring it to work where I can use Adobe Premiere. Of course, I suppose the easiest and quickest way would be if someone has a VHS > DVD burner unit.

whew. what a set list!

BTW, Kote is frikin HUGE. Just massive. You know, every other song that ever got benched, I could understand why even if I was wishing they still played it. But Kote...why?
-
:chin: how about a viewing party? wolf - you bring the tape & some sam adams! ;)
-
if people actually want this show then I can just transfer the master edit of it.
Does anyone know if brothers past allows video trading, or should I just do the pb set?

Sounds a fantastic find - would agree that a transfer to DVD would be very much appreciated!
-
I have the brothers past opening set also. It\'s really trippy the way I edited it, I put trails on everything during the trance jams.
-
get those transfered and put on dvd stat
-
Too kind.

vhs=round black plastic discs played by a needle?
-
I shot 2 cameras at that show and did an edit of it but never released it. However, at the time I transfered to VHS for the band copies so it is possible that you could have gotten a copy of it. I still have the masters somewhere around here.

Wolfy-I want to see the handwriting on that!
I have about 20 VHS from 2001-2003. Really need to get them in the archive.
PS- Paul Freddie Chris-Give me those tapes back!
-
what a sweet setlist, can you make copies? ill pay
-
:yay: woohoo! great find :)

While cleaning out the closet I found a Psychedelic Breakfast VHS tape that I didn\'t even know I had. 3/14/02 from Toad\'s Place, full show. I have no idea when I got this, who gave it to me, or whose handwriting is on the tape. (Probably Paul.) Crazy. This could be the only video recording of Kote, I don\'t know.
