yup, thats what i had too...set was too shortm it was almost like they wrent even warmed up. Tunage was AWESOME, the sound was sick, rufus was great to hear since it was my first, although it was cut really short in the jam segment cause of time restraints. good times all around.

Well apparently you have to live across the street to get the local discount. I only live 12 miles away and I do not qualify for the local discount. When I called the other day they said that Schenec residents were local, now I live too far into town! Might be taken my name off the list. I love the Breakfast but $85 is a lot too see them. Not really interested in anyone else, maybe Gongzilla. No day passes either. Hmmmm.

Dave#s- I called the Lakeside General Store. They are selling cheap tickets to the locals. She wouldn\'t give me a price over the phone. I would assume that they are half price. She said just bring your i.d. and one ticket per person.
Everyone attending this- I live only 15 to 20 minutes from the campground. Don\'t know what everyones plans are. But, if anyone needs a shower or a place to stay or whatever it\'s yours.

Good lord that guy is something else. He tried to convince me to let him come visit me on the farm I worked on in Vermont. I can only imagine how my boss would have reacted when he saw Pat pulling in with that crazy schoolbus of his.

I love that 25 year anniversary scrapbook. I bought mine at the Webster that night! Good times. I am a longtime Creekfreek but I am way more excited right now for the Breakfast. I wish they could do two sets, or a late night blowout.

Max Creek\'s music may be a little mellower than the Breakfast but the fans sure as hell are not. In fact there is a dark underbelly to their fanbase IMHO.

All I gotta say is Spin Ray and Pat the Head dancer mos def qualify as sketchy... not that I do not qualify as well!!
I hardly think MC is afraid of the Breakfast. They\'ve been doing this **** for thirty years. I think the bands draw equally in many markets which makes it not a good supporting situation. I purchased "the History of Max Creek 1971 - 1996 " yes they have a book.. at a flea market last month for a dollar!!! Quick read.

Oh man, I understand completely. Some bands just don\'t do it for you. I\'m sorry if I came off too snippy; I love those guys and have taken many trips with them and feel spiritually imbued with Creekiness, but of course, thats just me. I am a little peeved at myself for not just suggesting a show to check out in the first place. Here are a couple I dig for various reasons, check them out and see what you think. Ummm, no.
They used to bore the hell out of me back in the day and I couldn\'t understand why PB was opening up for them at Toads and other shows. It wasn\'t long before it was the other way around. Maybe it\'s just me, but for a band that had been around for all those years, I expected more. Then again, I also found Uncle Sammy to be boring.
In keeping an open mind, suggest a good MC show and I\'ll try and give it a listen.
