the pool at Hospice where i\'m working this month won $8 in the $275 million jackpot.... they reinvested and won $10,000 last night.... lucky jerks!

for all those involved - i picked up the 17 tickets for last night\'s drawing on the way to bar last night. numbers/results posted at the link i sent you earlier. we netted $0. though i guess it\'s interesting to note that we did have all 5 non-powerball numbers on the same "ticket", but of course, they weren\'t on the same line so that\'s not really good for anything.

Cost:
$5.00 per share. You MAY purchase more than one share.

Payment info:
Cash (preferably BEFORE the drawing) or Paypal (see below, and do not mention Powerball, Lottery, Gambling, etc. with your payment). If paying by PayPal add 50 cents per $5 to cover fees.

To Play:
Post a message in this thread with your email address and how many shares you would like. I will then send you an invoice via PayPal.

Purchase info:
All payments must be received by 10:00am EST Saturday. I will purchase computer quick picks on Saturday morning. I will post all ticket numbers to all players in a mass Private Message after the last batch is purchased on Saturday.

If we win:
If one of the tickets wins the jackpot, all players who payed for the pool will be required to meet in Connecticut on a select date and time to be determined so we can claim our prize as a group; a lawyer will be contacted prior to public announcement. The payout will be a LUMP SUM payment.

Other prizes:
Note that tickets will not include the $1 extra for Power Play. Please visit http://ctlottery.org/powerball.htm#POWERBALL for payout table for non-jackpot winning tickets. Non-jackpot prize amounts up to $100 will be reinvested in the following drawing, regardless of the size of the jackpot. Non-jackpot prize amounts over $100 will be split evenly (after taxes, if applicable) between the players.

The names below will be updated with confirmed people. If you have tried to contact me and do not see your name on the list as the deadline approaches, CALL ME! Make sure you leave a message with your name and number, I screen my calls.
