I just had to go through something like this with my uncle, i couldn\'t imagine a parent. keep your head up and know you\'ll see them again some day. it\'s the only thing in our existence we can\'t avoid doing. rest in peace.

thanks everyone. one one hand its good that her mom no longer has to suffer the indignity of that insipid disease, however its still a heartbreaking day.

i won\'t go on a quit smoking rant, but if you have or ever will have kids, think about quuitting if for no other reason than to not put them (and the rest of your family) through this.


also, try find a minute or two today to call your folks and tell them how much you love them. you can simply never do that enough....
