LDZ and Attraction shelved for good??!! What is the world coming to?

chris def knows OE (a little tid bit of info i acquired after mill st). this song is a key part f the queeb saga and so will have to stay in rotation if the story is ever to be completed.

If I remember correctly either leith or alz, pretty sure it was leith, sent me a pm (when I was mourning Ron\'s departure in December) saying that the replacement is "Ron on steroids" and asked what my feeling would be with this question (after my vote for OE in the TOT): "What if I told you he already knows how to play Over Exposure?"
Seemed rhetorical and I assumed that meant "The new bassist already knows how to play Over Exposure."
If this tune is shelved, I will feel mislead like an American Airlines passenger and, strangely enough, move on. I hope this isn\'t the case though.

500 pounds is a very small elephant. According to the San Diego Zoo\'s Website (http://www.sandiegozoo.org/animalbytes/t-elephant.html), an adult male elephant is about 15,000 pounds and a female is 8,000 pounds. Newborns are up to 350 pounds, so a 500 pound elephant is an infant. Of course, someone would have to be pretty stoned to not notice a live elephant in the room of any size, never mind a pink elephant. But one could make the case that a 500 pound elephant is only 1/30th as significant as a 15,000 pound elephant and therefore not that big a deal. Benching Overexposure would be a bigger deal than 500 pounds... I\'d give it a 12,000 out of 15,000 on the Pachyderm Problem Proportion Poundage Percentile. I think OE will be back pretty soon though.

Some of the shelved tunes aren\'t even that heavy on the vocals, so there\'s no reason a few couldn\'t surface if there is a will on the band\'s part.
OE has to be brought back; for [-]heaven\'s[/-] Broseph\'s sake, it almost won the Tournament of Tunes.

I hope it comes back too, but I\'m kind of hoping they update it from the way it was played with Ron... it would be a shame to keep it played the same old way it was played -

It\'s way too good to never play again.
It\'s gonna be a long time before they bust it out again though.
The untz jam was getting kinda old anyway.
I wouldn\'t be surprised at all to see a slightly reworked (hopefully dubbed out) version with a corresponding new type of jam attached pop up 6-12 months from now.

I don\'t think they are gone. After all, Tim was singing the Jordan tunes when he left (and filling in on keys)... those songs didn\'t go away.
They\'ve only played a handful of shows with Chris so far. He needs time to learn the Breakfast catalog and we, the fans, need to become comfortable with him filling Ron\'s shoes. I don\'t think he would have been that well received had they played Overexposure the first show with Chris.
They\'ll be back soon enough.

i love attraction, ldz, and no regret... but i ESPECIALLY love intension and OE. it\'d be a shame to see OE shelved when it was picking up some unparalleled momentum.
but i suppose we should give chris a chance to learn all the tunes (ie, HLH!) before we completely freak out.....

which I\'m sure has been on everyone\'s mind, yet seldomed discussed. Do you think Overexposure has been shelved? I certainly hope not. While I completly understand Intension, No Regret, Attraction, and LDZ being gone for good, I would be hugely pissed if they did the same with Overexposure. It\'s been such a heavy hitter, not to mention, the favorite track of many on Moxie Epoxy. Ron didn\'t author it, so it shouldn\'t be a big deal. That being said, when will our long forgotten friend make a return? Toad\'s?
