I would rather go see STS9, Lotus, the New Deal, Pnuma, Signal Path... etc etc as far as electronic music is concerned.
As far as inspired jamming is concerned I can confidently say the Breakfast have got teh Biscoz beat.

yeah for sure. inspiration is *flowing* outta the breakfast these days. all though i\'d like to see the return of some untzzing to the breakfast jams....

you\'ll just have to stand in front of Matt and yell for him to play his synth or Tim should break out the Alesis

for the record, don\'t mean to be a dick but seeing as everyone is adding their input on the band, i thought id add mine.

i genuinely dislike this band. seen them 3 times now and each time i found myself dumbfounded that people enjoy it.

I\'ve seen \'em 5 times now and it has been quite hit or miss.  I\'ve been blown away entirely by their shows before.  I\'ve also been totally Meh\'d by their shows before.  I also find myself being blown away for like, 30 minutes of a bisco show while the rest of the show has been pretty weak.

yeah i haven\'t really been to a biscuits show in the past year thats really wow\'ed me the way some early recordings sure have. it seems like they used to be so tight.... but recently i\'ve found their jams to be sloppy and uninspired.

it\'s easy to see why, i mean they used to look out over crowds of people hanging on every note and lyric; yet now, it seems to be overrun by those inspired by more intoxicating substances.

just one of my observations during say-meher-ville. could have been just the crowd, or just the shows i went to, or whatever.... but it really seems like they\'re past their prime.

that being said, see you all at nokia...lol

i\'m probably going to the worcester show. igzy get in touch if you are definitely gonna make it and i\'ll find ya...

Worcester sucks.

thats why its seeing a disco biscuits show there is completely fitting.

that being said, holly, i\'ll keep an eye out for ya either way.

Although I see where your sarcastic comment is coming from, they are still quite good.

I too prefer the stuff they did with Sammy, but its a little unfair to say that they aren\'t any good anymore

i still haven\'t seen them live and this is right before i go to CA so i think i might be in.

Yikes, you mean I might actually get to see them before a fellow.infoer? Only 18 days till London and I need to build up some sleep for a 19.30 to 3am show!

I haven\'t seen them either. I have "brushed" them aside because there are too many bands with "biscut" in their title and i get them all confused.

ya, sadly enough i\'ve never given them a chance. but will have to give into the hype especially considering it\'s 15 minutes from my place and it\'s on a weekend.

side note. hey Boombox, i\'ll be in your backyard in a couple months. anywhere you would suggest i have to go to. i\'m gonna check out a couple football stadiums while i\'m there and then just hang in London for a couple days. want me to bring you anything from the states

YESYESYES

definitely doing as much of the prov>worc>nyc>nyc as i can...in fact there\'s no reason why i wouldn\'t do the entire thing.  plus there\'s about 5 days in between these shows...and CT is between RI/MA and NY, so...chevy theatre (or the webster :vomit:) is a definite possibility (maybe the breakfast will open lol)

haven\'t seen them since halloween (HABBER!)...i can\'t remember the last time i will have gone this long without it...teh bisco that is

Crazy weekend that is! Minus the Bear (One of my fav. and most exciting bands out right now) and Disco Biscuits (one of my all-time fav. live bands) tours intersect that weekend in the northeast. I for one am more excited than words can express and can\'t wait!

Friday April 4th
Lupo\'s in Providence

if anyone plans on hitting up these shows, hit me up in here.  I could probably host some pre and post show festivites for the Providence gig, so i\'m just letting the word out early.  this is gonna be a great weekend in some of New England\'s schwilliest cities.
