Chris- don\'t have to be 21, we bring the kids there, it\'s more restaurant than bar.  i think they have to leave by 11, when they stop serving food but obviously that wont be an issue, and they can\'t sit at the bar...  dont know all the rules.

saturday night, i witnessed some of the funniest dialouge ever at BAR, as me, freddie, aruny, tim, and ron walked in there around 11:30 to find that there was a $6 cover..

as we all decided against it and turned around to walk out, the lady stops us... ron was leading the crowd...

lady: "ho\'d up.. ho\'d up... where you goin\'?"
ron: "we\'re not paying $6 just to come in and drink beers."
lady: "it\'s not juss drinkin\' beers, it\'s the experience... meetin\' people and everythin.."
ron: "oh yeah? what\'s your name?"
lady: "shaniqua... what\'s yours?"
ron: "ron... see? that didn\'t cost $6!"

For anyone who does not know, The Bru Room is part of Bar in New Haven. A hop skip and stumble away from Toad\'s!!! Very good appizza also! Check out their web site here (http://www.niteimage.com/clubs/BAR/index.htm)

Bru Room is taking reservations for dinner on NYE.  Please post if you want to reserve a spot, I\'m thinking for around 6:00. Anyone who posts by Sunday 12/21 is in.
