nice!!

Great videos man! I\'ve watched three so far, I like #8/9 the most so far..
I\'ve said it before and I\'ll keep saying it, Urban Fetch sounds great to my earholes. There\'s no reason you guys shouldn\'t do very well for yourselves. It\'s righteous pop. Great, dynamic song writing, quality vocals, influenced but original style, tight, tight, tight.....
Changed my mind.. #4 is where it\'s at!

yo everyone, check out
http://www.woozyfly.com/urbanfetch
for some videos of us live in their studio recently!
"Songs With No Names" is currently in the mixing phase and should be out in May!

If that\'s the band I\'m thinking of from Long Island, I\'m happy they won too. I enjoyed their **** more than the rest of the competition. I watched a couple of their videos and it seems like they have quite a rowdy, dedicated fanbase already. Seems like good times with good party music.
You guys should work together.
-
daniel street is more likely, and i\'d say late april-early may.
-
sounds like a good time...glad to hear your band is doing well.
-
Jim, good to hear all the positive news.
As a lazy and poor music fan, I\'ve got to know... when is UF gonna come to Toad\'s or even better, Daniel St.?
-
All Grown Up won. Of all the bands on there, i\'m glad it was them. they\'re old friends and they put on a very solid and entertaining show.
-
Good news Jim. Not winning may turn out to be better in the long run. You guys definitely \'got it\' so I\'m sure y\'all will be just fine.
Who did win? I\'m curious because I listened to everyone\'s tracks who performed. And I\'m sincere when I say I liked your guys sound the best. Solid song writing too.

sorry for the lack of updates. just got back to NY from langerado...
Nice. Didn\'t know you were heading down. Good times?
didn\'t win the contest, but definitely won in the grand scheme of things. played to a packed house at irving, and everyone absolutely loved it. turned a lot of heads, and made a whole shitload of new fans. bodog music also really loves us and wants to continue to work with us in the future which is very nice as well.
long story short, successful show overall. :point: we\'re also kinda relieved that we won\'t have to make ourselves seem interesting enough to be on tv.
  Good to hear. Congrats!

Inquiring minds want to know!!

How\'d the show go?

Tear it up tonight Jim!
:awwyeah:

we\'ll most likely be hitting the road and seeing all of your respective necks of the woods.
Cool; I\'ll look forward to seeing you.
i\'m actually probably going to be in SF in early april on business. i\'ll find you.
-
bump! the show\'s this wednesday. big things to come for UF, we\'ve got some very influential people on our team right now, so once the new record is done (mid-late april) we\'ll most likely be hitting the road and seeing all of your respective necks of the woods.
oh also, we play at 9:30 this wed.
Good luck Jim. I\'ve been listening to you guys often actually.
I\'m excited to hear the album + seeing you guys live if all moves along as planned. Exciting.

I just read this thread for the first time. Congrats Jim! How exciting!
I really wish I could be there but it looks like it will be impossible due to work/school. Best of luck!

Hey thanks gordo, glad you enjoy it. The EP is the most recent release from us, but we\'re almost finished tracking a full length record, "Songs With No Names". The songs on the record (you guessed it) dont have names. Should be out in a couple months, and yes, there is some touring in the agenda, so we will def be out to chicago at some point.
-
Congratulations Jim! Livin\' the dream. Fuckin a\'.
I\'d go, but I live in Chicago.
Good luck.
Alright so I listened to a couple tracks of you guys a loong time ago, liked it, forgot about it.
I just listened to a few songs on your myspace, then watched a couple videos-- you guys are **** sick Jim. I really, really like your sound.
So is the ep all you guys have out right now? Tour plans towards Chicago any time soon? Live shows I can download?
Seriously, I\'m in.
I just listened to all of the other bands up there and you guys should give it one hell of a shot. Half of those bands you can probably toss out of the running because they seem way too gimicky. There\'s four or five that are either original or just so tight in their style with solid vocals that they\'ll be considered. I think you guys have a great shot at taking this thing down. Your singer has a strong and distinctive voice, more so than any of the others. Good stuff.
-
thanks so much everyone, really looking forward to this!
-
congrads jim. I\'ll have to check the work schedule, but in order to do this I would have to burn a vacation day. Hope to make it! Good luck if I can\'t!
-
Congrats Jim!
-
SWEET! congrats! i\'ll make it down if i can, depending on work sked. as of now, i\'m good to go!
-
the crowd fills out ballots but the majority of the decision is made by a panel of judges.
-
nice man...how did they judge (crowd applause, judged, combo of the 2?)
-
thanks chris!
-
Congrats Jim!!!
You deserve it brotha.

Hey everyone,
So Urban Fetch has been competing in the Bodog Battle of the Bands. I\'m sure some of you are familiar with it. Thousands upon thousands of bands sign up to compete for a spot on the Bodog Battle TV show on Fuse. This past saturday, Urban Fetch played the Regional Semi-Finals at The Blender Theater in Manhattan. We managed first place out of the thirteen bands on the bill (after having already beaten out about 25 other acts from the first two rounds). Anyways, now that Bodog Music has crowned us the best unsigned band in New York (*pats self on back*), we\'ve got to battle it out in the Finals with the best of the entire northeast at Irving Plaza in Manhattan.
So here\'s where you come in. I think with the right kind of support from our friends, family, and fans, we can definitely win this thing. I\'d like to invite the tristate area based B\'Fam to Irving Plaza on WEDNESDAY MARCH 5th, 2008. The doors open at 6pm, and I\'ll know exactly when our set time is in a couple weeks. The tickets are $15 if you buy them from me, $20 at the door. If you want a ticket, shoot me a PM and I will send it to you at my own expense, just paypal me for the ticket itself.
Out of all the UF shows I\'ve plugged on here, this is the one I REALLY would love for everyone to try and get out to. It would really mean a lot to me and the rest of my band. We\'re really feeling good about being able to outperform the other bands, so having the support of a large audience would really be the clincher. Thanks so much guys and gals, I hope to see some of you there.
