They should play with Bfast in NYC. Justin told me they draw a good crowd in their home town.
I think that would be a monster show. Hopefully beneficial for both bands.

Al, you are correct, there will be a summer tour, but no details yet.
-
I was under the impression they were embarking on a nationwide tour in early summer...no dates posted yet for that.
-
thanks, rickey! gotta give a listen.
-
The new CTS CD "are you watching closely?" is out. I just received my copy. It\'s a bit heavier in spots than the last one, but still a stellar effort. You can listen to it here: http://www.considerthesourcemusic.com/store/index.html

I\'m looking forward to seeing them again!

Greetings people. We have our big NYC blow-out this weekend at Sullivan Hall. We\'ve been looking forward to this show for quite a while now, and its right around the corner. Expect an extra-long set featuring brand new songs, live visuals by the brilliant Justin Wood (who\'s worked with The Disco Biscuits and Dubtrio), new Consider the Source t-shirts, and just about the most happening party of this weekend. The show is 18+, so come one come all.
We\'d like also to remind you that this event serve\'s as a fundraiser for us, in our efforts to get a new vehicle and keep our music on the road. We desperately need your help! Bring whoever you can, from girlfriends to grandparents. We\'ll be on tour 80% of the new year, just as long as we raise the money for a van that can handle our rukus. Our tour dates have been posted on our website from Feb 11 - Mar 22. Then we\'ll have our record release in NYC, followed by a college tour in April / May, and a three month national tour all summer including a week at Burning Man in Nevada! Stay tuned, much love!!

CTS is playing w/ my other favorite NYC band, Wounded Buffalo Theory (http://thebreakfast.info/forum/showthread.php?t=13091&highlight=wounded+buffalo), on Halloween on a rooftop in Brooklyn. $5 admission and FREE BEER! oh yeah. here\'s some info, from the guys at WBT...
BUFFALOWEEN IS NEAR!
Hiyo!
Wounded Buffalo Theory\'s annual Halloween run is just days away, and we have a very special 3 night run to celebrate the season.
First up, we\'re extremely happy to be playing a benefit show/book release party for the Iraq Veterans Against the War at Sullivan Hall on Thursday 10/30 (event at 8, wbt at 10). The event features multiple incredible bands, lots of IVAW speakers and presentations, visualizations by Justin Wood, and much more. We\'ll be selling our merch at the event, and 50% of the proceeds will go to IVAW, so come out and support a cause that is very much still on our minds this election season. Tickets are $15/$20 day of show (please contact woundedbuffalotheory@gmail.com if you\'re interested), but as a very special deal to get you out for this important night, anyone who purchases a ticket for the event will get free entrance on Halloween at Deftloft the following night!
Which brings us to Halloween at Deftloft the following night! Yes, 10/31 will again be an infamous date in Buffalo History, and this year, we\'ve pulled out all the stops to create an event the likes of which none of us have ever seen. Preforming live on a roof in Bushwick Brooklyn (210 Cook St), WBT plans on bringing some of its most evil noise and brutal surprises out in spades, and we\'re ecstatic to have Consider the Source opening for us, and Torn Asunder and DJ Robonitronicus spinning before/between/after sets, plus more TBA, including live artists. $5 gets you in and free beer, and again, if you buy a ticket for 10/30/08 at Sullivan Hall, you get free entry into Deftloft.
Finally, we schlep! Up to Albany for our annual Day of the Dead throwdown at Winston\'s Rage Cage, (11/1/08, 9pm), featuring dear friends Black Mountain Symphony, Torn Asunder, DJ Nanobot, DJ Robonitronicus, and more! This has never been less than the dance party of the year in terms of WBT shows, and expect no different this time around. Come early and often!
BUFFALOWEEN is back, and proverbially bigger than ever! HUH-Freakin\'-Zah!

I actually got an email back from the drummer and there\'s a live studio show on their site. Too bad there isn\'t a way for me to capture the stream so that I can listen to it when I\'m not at my computer.
