Post by: Drew_Kingsley on May 10, 2008, 06:41:39 pm
I would imagine that the lack of setlist/other info means that none of the usual suspects made it out... and I would assume that most people who did make it are still there. And so, I futilely ask you because I\'m stuck home working tonight, has anybody heard anything about this show?

dave, the weather forecast for the area shows that it should break sometime this evening around 7-9pm.  just in time for the breakfasts set.

collin is out there now.  says its just a light rain and the grounds are just wet and not flooded or anyhting.

definitely check out Turbine if you can. Ryan rips on the harp and I feel they\'re an under-rated jam band.

i feel like turbine opened for the breakfast at UAC II in 4/05. am i crazy?

they did...not sure of the date though. they also opened at daniel street a while back. i liked em.

doesnt look like a lot of people are going...i think this is going to be a fun time though.

ill be at tulip fest in albany seeing the spin doctors haha

haha one of my friends is driving up for that.

doesn\'t seem like we have a lot of support from the breakfast fans but that\'s ok, should be a great time

tell him to save his gas money...the spin doctors are pretty bad these days.  i saw them 3 years ago (once again, at a free show), and it was weak.  all the lead singer did was brag about himself and the band.

i think he went to siena and apparently tulip fest means quite a party although i dont really see the correlation haha

yeah tulip fest is a huge party...thats more of a reason to go than the spin docs

there was actually one small change in the schedule on Friday but it didn\'t affect The Breakfast.  Turbine is now playing between The Brew and The Breakfast.

The lineup looks nice!  A lot of those bands have a big following, so I\'m hoping we can put some SER promo into effect (i.e., CD\'s, DVD\'s, flyers, handbills, etc.) at the festival that weekend.  There will most definitely be many good times had by all.
