ok, first things first: kate\'s **** looked absolutely **** glorious in this episode.
definitely cried like a baby when desmond and penny were reunited.....
Jeremy Bentham (15 February 1748–6 June 1832) was an English jurist, philosopher, and legal and social reformer. He was a political radical, and a leading theorist in Anglo-American philosophy of law. He is best known for his advocacy of utilitarianism, for the concept of animal rights, and his opposition to the idea of natural rights, with his oft-quoted statement that the idea of such rights is "nonsense upon stilts." He also influenced the development of welfarism.

Influenced by: John Locke, David Hume, Baron de Montesquieu, Claude Adrien Helvétius, Thomas Hobbes
John Locke (August 29, 1632 – October 28, 1704) was an English philosopher. Locke is considered the first of the British Empiricists, but is equally important to social contract theory. His ideas had enormous influence on the development of epistemology and political philosophy, and he is widely regarded as one of the most influential Enlightenment thinkers and contributors to liberal theory. His writings influenced Voltaire and Rousseau, many Scottish Enlightenment thinkers, as well as the American revolutionaries. This influence is reflected in the American Declaration of Independence.

you know I was thinking that looked like a metronome also and I was thinking about it. A metronome will keep perfect time. If time is slowing down/speeding up on the island then maybe you would be able to hear/see/feel the effects of the time fluctuation\'s with it?
ABC Adds More Hours to Lost
Source: The Hollywood Reporter
May 9, 2008
The 2009 and 2010 editions of ABC\'s "Lost" will be 17 hours each -- not 16 as previously planned, says The Hollywood Reporter.
ABC has added two hours to the show\'s production plan because the WGA strike knocked three hours out of the current season. To partly compensate, the network recently added an additional hour to Part 2 of the season finale that airs May 29.
All told, the changes will wrap up the show with the same number of episodes that producers and ABC negotiated last year.
"We were supposed to do 16-16-16," "Lost" co-creator Damon Lindelof said. "But we ended up doing 14 this season, so we owe two."
For the upcoming season finale, Lindelof promised a more action-driven cliffhanger instead of the mind-bending flash-forward time shift that stunned fans last season.
"The finale this year will not be as tricky as last year," he said. "Hopefully, this year it\'s a little bit more of a straightforward action-adventure narrative. But the ending of the episode will hopefully engage and intrigue people looking forward to the next season of the show."
also what\'s the deal with christian? how does he fit into all this?? the guy\'s everywhere, and now he\'s somehow in cahoots with jacob?
and what\'s with richard, the man who never ages?
where (or when?) are they going to move the island to??? and whats the deal with all those freaky people who stay the same age?
also, how does sayid get to the island? doesnt he have to get thru some time warp?
locke episodes never disappoint.... no exception this time around. crazy backstory. is this the first flashback of the season?
It\'s interesting to note, that Abaddon means "destruction" or "the destroyer" in Greek, and is the name of the biblical Angel of the Abyss (thanks, Lostpedia)...while Alpert is named after a real world Dr. Richard Alpert - in the 60s, he became a Hindu, and the Hindu name he was given? "Servant of God."
I\'m kind of confused with the never ageing people. Also I\'m not sure if it means move the island in time or in location either. Where you have to follow certain coordinates to get to the location of the island, but is that because of where it is or when it is? Last night was a fantastic episode though! I\'m surprised how much of this show is destiny without anyone proclaiming freewill. Several of them seem willing to accept that everything is happening for a reason.
also, did claire\'s pupils look gigantic in that cabin or was it just me?

what do flowers and butterflies mean?I think they mean that they could not afford to get some highschool kids to make new art so they re used the old stuff... :)
me too, but i don\'t agree with his perspective on his daughter. he allowed her to get killed. he had fair warning and threw a hissyfit when the dude saw through his manipulative nature and called his bluff. i don\'t understand how ben can blame widmore and go after penny. after this past episode, i wonder if widmore is not the horrible dude ben makes him out to be. i guess that\'s the real appeal to the show, not knowing who the good guys are...
jack\'s really starting to fall apart, huh?
Now...Sawyer...I Love Sawyer!!!! He is one Sexy man!!! :D
sleep tight, charles.
JTFC benjamin linus is the most intriguing character on television. **** welcome back!!!
yep. moving to 10pm when it comes back since gray\'s anatomy will be back on.
yo what the eff is michael\'s deal? is he working for ben on the boat? was the whole michael leaving the island thing staged? where the hell is walt? WHAT THE ****!! I NEED ANSWERS NOW!!!
i am assuming jin was the one in the coffin.
Quote from: FrankZappa;182813joc, I take back my previous statement. You and Al both need to get them and watch the whole show from the beginning.
Then watch the prisoner series from the 60\'s and we can discuss Americas obsession with stealing plot concepts from canceled British shows.
"I am not a number. I am a free man!"
my man phil thinks Michael is in the coffin.

Quote from: alexanderzurflu;182532Having never seen this show, I must ask if it really good and worth checking out on Netflix, beginning with season 1. I have gotten into other shows strictly from rave .info reviews in the past (Arrested Development, Entourage...).
It\'s that good. And def start from season 1.

btw, in the future, that kind of thing should be spoilerized.

I don\'t really understand the 2% difference... I didn\'t see any evidence of that in the last episode. We know there is some sort of time delay between the island and the freighter because of the rocket, but it was only a couple hours, right? And I take it as the delay is constant, like its only a couple hours off, not that time is moving faster on the island.
interesting to note that it\'s xmas eve on the boat but it\'s a full two days later on the island...more than a 2% difference...that\'s 90 million years over the course of 4.5 billion
Quote from: Vassillios;181095i think we find out about the heli next week

looks like RC. possibly RG, i suppose, but.. no, we don\'t know who that is.
so ben\'s off the island...but is he one of the oceanic 6? something tells me he might not be.
Pretty neat show.
So seems to me like they eventually give up Ben to have 6 people rescued.
that guy in the suit who hired Naomi is probably some important guy with something to do with the island and they want Ben gone because he killed like 60 people to take over the island and has been preventing people from getting to it since then..
It seems as if Locke really is an "other" now. That sucks cuz I liked him.
wtf is up with locke? is he totally crazy? was he in that shack with jacob??yea, I\'m pretty sure that was locke in the cabin with jacob. Also, I\'m in the same exact boat as you. Watched all 3 seasons back in september, so it\'s really weird having to wait now!!! grrr...
i cant believe i have to wait a freakin week to see what happens. up til now its been all on DVD for me so i\'ve just compulsively watched episode after episode like the LOST junkie i am.... ack!!
And Zuke, you almost got your Hurley skinny dipping scene! Did you see him running to do his cannonball with his boobs flapping in the breeze??? LOL
you\'re not here, you\'re dead.
I know I\'m dead, but I\'m also here.
prove it.
:slap:
2 HOURS???? this **** is gonna be off the hook
looks like i have to get my act together and watch the last few episodes of season 3... yup, still haven\'t seen \'em.
