Didn\'t make it to CT. I realized there was really no oint in driving the cash down there. It\'s not going to go through in time anyhow.
Paul I should be all set getting to and from the airport. I am actually flying out and back with my dad, who is going to Santa Clara for work. Thanks though!

he probably still has some sort of cast on his leg and a goatee on his face. he fell down the stairs a few weeks ago while trying to do laundry before having any coffee! winter in the northeast on crutches sounds like sheer hell, to me!

if you guys do this, and it happens to be around 5:30, look for a gray-headed slightly older dude at the bar with a couple other guys nearby. his name is sandy and today is his birthday.
also, i find it very odd that i know of two seperate groups of people meeting at the same bar on the same day, six states away....

Yeah... I can take bus. Doubt they can pick me up... one will be at work and the other is a carless stay-at-home mom. I\'ll work it out somehow.
There is a slight possibility that everything will be squared away in 4 days instead of the usual 7-10 business days... but I doubt it.
I hate transferring money out of my savings account.

Al- I might have this worked out, and the hotel I\'m at won\'t let me cancel, so I think I\'m going one way or the other. Just might nothave a car, which will suck because I have friends in Walnut Creek whom I want to visit..
Santa Clara is off the BART line, but connects to SF/Eastbay/BART lines via either the Capitol Corridor or CalTrain train systems.
I\'m off Wed and Thurs so maybe we can go on some adventures.

make them pick you up, or see if you can take a bus to walnut creek. if they\'re your friends they\'ll understand and try to help you out. good luck. :)

AND I need to get my license here in NH renewed (they won\'t let me right now because of this) by Friday. I am leaving for Santa Clara on Monday, and I need to rent a car there, which means having a valid NH license, which is currently expired.
This is what happens when one puts things off. ****!
Well, I just spoke to the court. I have to drive to Rockville, CT, wherever the **** that is, give them $339. Then wait for them to mail me something, then mail that in, wait for more mail, then pay $150. Sounds like this ain\'t gonna happen by Friday.
Plus I now have $1.88 in my checking account, so I am not sure how this is going to work.

i accidentally did something like that once for a speeding ticket i got on the way to toad\'s place to wait on line for oysterhead tickets. you will have to go to the DMV in hartford and pay them $100 cash to have your license reinstated in CT, along with whatever fine it is that you had to pay for the ticket.
it also never made it onto my MA license/insurance as well which was very very nice.
granted, things may have changed in 6 years, but that\'s what happened to me.
you may be able to get them to give you a few weeks to pay the ticket fine, but you have to pay the reinstatement fee at the DMV separately when you are there. so make sure you have that kind of $.
call and make sure the court will see you today otherwise you\'ll have driven to ct for nothing.

I think I may have to drive my sorry ass to CT today to turn myself in for having not shown up for court for a speeding ticket like 2-3 years ago. I can bail myself out for something like this most likely, right?
