i\'m soooo happy i don\'t go to school anymore

If it meant I didn\'t have to "work" I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Plus I could probably make more $ than I am now just by being in school ;)

Who ever invented work needs a swift kick in the balls (or appropriate genitalia)

good luck to you gordo...and to anyone else dealing with the end of the semester.

getting up at 4am to study feels wonderful.

haha are you making shake&bake chicken at 4am when you rise? lol i certainly don\'t miss my two meathead roommates this year!

this is my first december without finals in 6 years.... as much as i enjoy the low level of stress, i certainly miss that finals-week-haze when data is just floating in and out of your head while you float in and out of consciousness. i love gettin\' high on information....

anyway, good luck to you all during this super-stressful couple of weeks. coffee is your friend... and adderall....

The only way to get to bed before two is with the help of sleep aids. Or booze. Which I suppose is a sleep aid.

tylenol pm, weed and valium works for me.

i am applying for my PhD in behavioral ecology. scary huh? i am currently wasting your oxygen, drinking pabst in willimantic and smoking roaches during my "year" off. and yea, i could never wake up early and study. i was definitely an all nighter kid, taking power naps every 2-3 hours. and smoking lots of roaches, which actually curbed my adhd long enough for me to study. wierd

because you all care.

im ina phd program too, rock on

It builds character
it really just makes me hate college.

i laughed when i saw this cause ive always been one to go to bed at like 8pm and get up at 3am to study, rather than stay up late and get up at regular time.
i used to pull all-nighters studying, but i have learned that it\'s better to just wake up ridiculously early.. plus it\'s kind of tough to stay up reviewing when you are still hung over from the night before.

if you\'re like me, it will help prepair you for a career of getting up at 3am for work.

An impossibility for me. I\'m an owl. Although I\'d probably be better off taking your guys\' route, I\'m much more efficient under sunlight. I\'ve just never been able to fall asleep early. Unless of course I hump like a rabbit allllllll day long. Then, it\'s no problem at all. :P

You should have majored in television like I did... only one real project in four years (remember all those surveys you dotINfOers filled out for me?).

good luck, gordo. what are you studying? damn i wish i were still in school!

Philosophy, Literature, Geology (last science lab of my life!), Human Nutrition. However I just recently switched to Sociology as my major which I\'ll be tackling hard for the next, and hopefully last, three semesters of my under-grad studies. All of my required Gen Eds. are finished which is a relief. 50 total credits to go.

Has anyone here ever read Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison? I just finished my final paper on it for my independent study.... fantastic book. Next time you\'re stumbling through a library or bookstore, just pick it up and read the Epilogue.

I\'ve found the past week to be a revelation in studying for finals and completing work for the end of the semester. I\'ve basically been a two-cup a night coffee-drinking hermit in my room with my e-mailbox open at all times and the speakers turned up so while I\'m reading or writing I can hear a .info update arrive. I take a quick break, fulfill my social interaction needs, and spin my chair one hundred and eighty degrees returning to my education. It honestly has curbed a lot of stress.

So thank you guys for putting up with my rants full of caffeine. You don\'t know it but you\'re helping me earn a degree with some sanity. :P
