You can always approach a venue and get them to make an offer to the band via Crescendo. I have heard of the band not getting invited back to certain markets because of bad turnouts after a few tries and it takes convincing to get an opportunity to get back in. It is worth the shot.
I doubt that this is the case in Ithaca but still.
Unfortunately, things are way to complicated to describe situations that are happening on the internet and paint a nice rosy picture.

thats what I am talking about thats 100 people. Ask a venue. Little bit of promotion and some .infoers and you have 150 people minimum.

There weren\'t enough people there to lose any support.
THe support went way down after the first trio show here which had a much better turn out but also sucked.
Thats really when the support was lost.
Then the 2nd show was just the nail in the coffin.
There was over 200 people raging out till the very end of the night on a thursday night at the last jordo show at castaways. That is something to build on.
I am sure however that the band will just write the town off in typical fashion and continue to play towns with much smaller potential draws and smaller dumpier venues like Utica.

i **** loved this show!! i did not think it was the worst trio show whatsoever...maybe its because i hung out with the band backstage that night which was pretty cool to me ha. please come play ithaca, im lonely up here man

The only thing I remember from this night is flicking a butt into an ashtray on a beer about 12 feet (thanks TKA for being able to mark the distance) being me over my left shoulder with my right hand and getting nothing but ashtray. Great way to start the run for myself.
