Paul from what I gather I would hate Sally\'s as I am not down with the "Our ZA is so good we can treat you like **** " attitude. The more I heard about Sally\'s the more I was like "**** that place anyways" and really did not mind not eating there.
Guess it\'s just the west coast in me.

The thing to do w/ Sally\'s is order to go. Then do whatever in New Haven for like an hour, then go get your ZA. Sally\'s really is the best i\'ve had so far imo.

I had a dream about Pepe\'s slices on the plane last night coming home so I am sticking w/ them as best ZA in New Haven. I had slices from Pepe\'s, BAR, Modern and John & Maria\'s.

Oh and people actually got down hard to Tricky Ways? So you know some **** was going down!!

YES! Pepe\'s is the best...glad someone agrees
it was sweet meeting you man, you know how to feel the music for sure.
and one last thing...im a huge fan of tricky ways!  just because it is a simple blues progression doesnt mean its not good.  i dont know why everyone busts on TW...i got down to that song almost as much as i did over exposure, and thats saying something.

this run was awesome, see everyone soon.

He has not yet had sallys, so it doesn\'t mean anything when he says that. That\'s like asking someone from ct if they like the yankees or red sox better when they have only ever seen one of the teams play. :sigh:

Hey Leith!

It was great seeing you -thanks for being a great guest & dealing with all of our adventures... I had a blast eating all the za, being "Cartman on Terets", the whole three-night run, and to top it off - visting the 1 and only BEN AND JERRY\'S factory!

I still can\'t believe how nice you are in person! :duck: ;)
Hope to see you again soon, broseph.

You\'re only saying that because you didn\'t have any sallys :sigh: :banghead:

For me a sign of The Breakfast really hitting on all cylinders is my inability to control my dancing. When they are "on" I dance so hard I come close to injury sometimes.
Ha, reminds me of deblock.

Leith, always a pleasure. Great hanging out with you man!

Leith gald you made it out, wish I had more than the one short conversation with you.  Hopefully we\'ll see you this way again sometime soon.

Yeah well if you damn freaks hadn\'t locked yourselves in the room and would\'ve answered the door......

Leith, way to travel all the way across the USA for that run. SER dedication. Also thanks for getting the band to do Lawn Boy, good work! It was nice to see ya rage-ing it this past weekend. See ya for new years at the EC?

I had nothing to do with the band playing Lawn Boy. It just happens that I had the same idea as them. When they are a 4 piece it scares me how much what I think should happen does.
Well you did start that thread... that couldn\'t have hurt.

Always a pleasure Leith.

Next time, I hope its out there and the city is burning.

Glad you could make it out. It was great sharing those show experiences with you.

People were getting down to TW, pretty hard too.

it was great to see you and spend time with you as well.

i echo your sentiments about the fam and everyone as well - there was something about this weekend that really really clicked in with me - it could be my new outlook on life - but hell - even if i tried i can\'t think of anything about that sucked.  everything was perfect.  the shows (the two i saw) the people, the love, the atmosphere, everything.

oh wait, there was about 10 seconds that i was jealous that esther\'s hair was bigger and better than mine. ;)

thanks to you, and to everyone else.

So I am about to get out the door for work but just wanted to post. I had so much fun and I am so glad the BFam is strong enough for me to be able to just come out there and rely on you all to get me everywhere.

I had a dream about Pepe\'s slices on the plane last night coming home so I am sticking w/ them as best ZA in New Haven. I had slices from Pepe\'s, BAR, Modern and John & Maria\'s.

I may be in the minority but I think the shows went
Iron Horse
Higher Ground
Toad\'s Place
The energy and playing were above and beyond at Iron Horse.
For me a sign of The Breakfast really hitting on all cylinders is my inability to control my dancing. When they are "on" I dance so hard I come close to injury sometimes.
That happened only at Iron Horse.
The Higher Ground show was special for sure and some incredible moments were had but from beginning to end the Iron Horse was what a Breakfast show can and always should be.
