i dont have sausage fingers! I am offended. I pride myself on my ring size of 5 1/2. That was a cropped and zoomed in pictures. i\'ll be happy to show you my hands in person one day. :biggrin:

I don\'t know if everyone does it. But some people get rings appraised for insurance purposes.

As long as you know how much the ring was purchased for, you have a good starting point.

Consignment = you display your ring at a jewelry store. you set the price you want to get for the ring. if the ring is sold, they get a %.

I plan on paying for school next semester with the funds from the ring. At least it\'s going to a good cause. :shrug: I was surprised he didn\'t want it. he said it has bad karma. I sort of agree.

I am definitely NOT going to a pawn shop because i know that will just equal getting ripped off. I didn\'t know if anyone knew locally of jeweler who would buy a diamond ring in the CT/MA/RI area. I\'d be willing to drive if it was a place with a good reputation. Or if anyone had any other ideas.
