can anyone bring extra pieces to iron horse? i havent had pepe\'s in probably 8 years, and all this talk is making me incredibly hungry for it!
you\'re nuts if your think any of these stoners are gonna have leftovers. Or even if some is saved specifically come 3-4 am those slices will look mighty tasty.

oof. ok, so it\'s a few doors down from Sally\'s ;) My bad. :shrug: I guess I just feel like anything on Wooster St. is right "next door" to Sally\'s, and much better! :duck:

oh yea, and elis is REALLY good also for being outside of new haven. Excellent point gfunk.

I\'m surprized no one has mentioned Pepes yet. I put it a half notch above sallies.

call me when you land and i\'ll try to save you the cab. i should be close by. btw....i suggest we go to pepe\'s as there will be little to no line and go to BAR later cause it\'s close to toads and it\'s easy to get a quick pie. either way i\'m in! your call.

modern is weak sauce (and i don\'t mean their marinara). sally\'s is really good but the service is hideous and they only have miller lite and bud lite for beer. BAR brews their reeb, come down on wed. and rage a timmy tour. that i can do

I have only had Pepe\'s of all the famous New haven ZA establishments
And DAMN it was good.
I had my first taste at the Gathering of The Vibes this year. We got pizza for the crew from Pepe\'s. some were plain others sausage.
I have had a lot of Pizza in my life and this pizza I remember.

the Spot = much better pie than Sallys - and, there\'s barely ever a wait and the staff is friendly (whereas at Sally\'s, the line is usually a mile long & service blows) Plus, it\'s right next door to Sally\'s.

It\'s right next door, owned by Pepe\'s, was opened in the 1940\'s, and is better than any of the others on the street! ;) If I had access to any actual websites from work, I\'d post some links up for ya. :lol: either way, though, I\'m up for any pizza in New Haven. ok......gloves off....i ate at the spot on saturday night...and i agree with everything you said .....except "plus it\'s right next door to sally\'s"...it\'s right there for everyone to see in black and white,regardless of their age. ;) the spot was the original site of pepe\'s and boasts the original oven. the staff is more consistant and the wait is usually much better......BUT IT"S NOT RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO SALLY\'S!! that is all. ;) oh....and someone call me thursday and let me know where lunch is....i\'m likely to appear.

When you\'re up in Northampton (I assume if you\'re flying out you\'ll be here for 3 nights) you want to hit up Pinocchio\'s for pizza. Its right across the St. from Iron Horse.
Hangar\'s wings are good... but IMO why drive out to Amherst when The Toasted Owl has even better wings right in Northampton.

I would say I\'ll keep a couple slices for ya but well you know this crew, they would not last.

you could be me, working till 8 or 9 and driving from Danbury to New Haven, and having to drive back to New Milford pretty much right after the show, cause I have to work again on Fri.
Atleast you won\'t be sweaty when you get there.

Well I know it\'s gonna be a crazy weekend and I fly back on Monday,so I am determined to get a few slices in. It seems I never get a chance to get some.

So my flight gets into New Haven at 1030am Thurs. I know I\'m gonna be hungry.
I finally get a chance to eat some of this "SER" Pizza I have heard so much about.
Where do I need to start?
