It is usually a good idea to post something like:
Taken from another board
or
I got this e-mail etc
The original e-mail reads as if this person is someone you know personally. Unless of course their machine was infected and it was sent to you that way. But it is just a good idea to make it clear you do not know the people involved personally or how it came to you.

Hi, Kris.
Those lab puppies are part of some HUGE email mailing. I have now gotten about 6 emails about them and we checked it out last week and those pups had all been adopted. But the emails all say "my friends found the pups", etc. With each email the pups are in a different location! It\'s some kind of mass email that must have gone out to hundreds of people (mainly at their work computers).
In any case, the pups all apparently have homes.

After trying for two days to contact the finder of the puppies, my friend has come to the conclusion that the email is a hoax. Lovely. I had found homes for all of them too. Ha.
It is probably a good thing, however, because otherwise I might have ended up with one of them. :P
