To My Friend John:
Rest. Now\'s the time for you to rest. You\'ve spent so long helping everyone you knew and loved. And they cannot repay your gratitude and friendship. Samantha is lucky to have a father like you.
You had a heart that was bigger than any man\'s heart. Your laugh was infectious and familiar. The nights that you, me and Freddie spent at Crown were timeless.
You were my brother and I\'ll always be thankful for having you in my life.
I don\'t know how to begin to think of life without having you around. I miss you and I love you, John. You are too soon gone.

Really sad news. Sorry to hear this.

The only person I knew that could stand listening to me tell stories and not leave after the 15th time he heard it...definitely come from the same line of storytellers. It still hasn\'t really hit me, i am gonna miss that dude. I was so asleep when Freddie told me that I couldn\'t even figure who he was talking about. WOW, the world lost a true, honest soul.

that is aweful news
sorry for everybody who knew him, especially for his daughter.

Johnnie you were on my top shelf.
He was the most sincere GUUUY and would do anything for you-you\'re right Freddy.
Whenever we had a conversation, I would walk away thinking that we were cut from
the same cloth. I\'ll miss the way he talked always moving around with his arms and shoulders, I\'ll miss his prescence and think about it always. Your eyes showed so much, but the one thing they showed was how you cared.
When you drink a guinness next say a toast to Johnnie!
RIP Johnnie I\'ll miss your smiling and eyes!
Love, Nikki
I\'ll get up and fly away, I\'ll get up and fly away, fly away...

-
too sad... my love goes out to all who knew him and will be missing him...

I was going to post this up earlier, but couldn\'t bring myself to do it. Thanks Freddie.
And thank you Johnnie for being a great friend. You will surely be missed.
I finally got him to a Blah Blah show recently and thought there would be more music to share with him. Hopefully he\'ll still be enjoying it with all of us!!
-

my condolences bro. i found out a longtime friend of mine passed away a few days ago on sunday. my heart goes out to his daughter.
-
definitely a sad incident.
he was a good man indeed.

last night i lost my best friend in a motorcycle crash.
folks who knew johnnie o. loved johnnie o.this wasnt even debatable.
when i initially brought johnnie around,he thought the band was amazing.after a few minutes,he was part of the bfam.the dude could make you laugh no matter what the situation.dude could fart and clear a WHOLE **** HOUSE..johnnie would do anything for any of his friends.johnnie was the dude u called when you got caught by the cops and needed to get bailed out.johnnie was the one to call when your car got a flat at 5 am and your ****.johnnie was the one to call if you felt like bellyin up to the bar and sluggin down a guinness or 20.johnniw was the one to call if u wanted to hear the same goddamn stories for about 75 times in a row that it came to the point that u could give more details about his story than he ever did...ill miss that very much...
johnnie left a beautiful little girl behind that he loved more than life itself..
all that johnnie ever talked about was "chick"aka samantha..shes a beautiful little girl who luckily didnt get any of her daddys bad looks!!!
so,please,if u get a minute sometime, say a little prayer for my lost brother.pray that he goes to a good place.pray for his family and friends and most importantly, for his little girl whos growing up now without her daddy..
anyone who lives like recklessly at times can learn a lesson from this....
