NYE in CT relies on the draw at Toad\'s Place.

I also heard the Jewish Mother was an option and possibly even the Electric Company, I believe.

Wife\'s family, my family, friends, and partying. I like to find out what I am doing for NYE early b/c 1. it helps the fall go by easier when I have something to look forward to.

IMO too much is going on in NYC do something where the weather is a little warmer ;)

Post by: jking on August 16, 2007, 02:21:25 pm: yeah, but it wasn\'t announced in time for us southerners to make it happen. i agree, though, both the 29th & 30th shows were great listening! i\'m just bummed because it was the first nye since i was 16 that i haven\'t done something besides sit at home. all of my favoritest bands were either too far away (8 hours+) or not doing anything. and since i\'m a much bigger fan of small shows, the closer arena options all seemed like too much of an overly expensive hassle to bother with.

but maybe i\'m just getting old....

and screw waiting for moe. to finish their new years eve show. id much rather see a 2-3 set breakfast show to ring in the new year.

I am still in summer mode. but, at last there is SURE to be something fun to look forward to!:) Ill keep my eyes open.I am excited for all the shows comming up with Matt.the band sounds awsome!!but always they did.
