Red Square would be ser. Not sure I would want anymore than 2 nights there.

The last show was the best turnout the band had at Red Square.

Red Square is a nice mid-point and a nice venue... but maybe a little small for NYE?

i remember hearing red square was an option last year.. have never been, but I hear good things.  It also seems to be a decent mid point for fans traveling (albany)...

On a side note....how are you feeling? Hope you are doing better...

You will not hear anything until after Halloween.

NYE in CT relies on the draw at Toad\'s Place.

I also heard the Jewish Mother was an option and possibly even the Electric Company, I believe.

Its never too early to plan for NYE jking.  I am too a southerner and need some time to wiggle around my priorities during the holidays.  Wife\'s family, my family, friends, and partying.  I like to find out what I am doing for NYE early b/c 1. it helps the fall go by easier when I have something to look forward to.

IMO too much is going on in NYC do something where the weather is a little warmer ;)

yeah, but it wasn\'t announced in time for us southerners to make it happen. i agree, though, both the 29th & 30th shows were great listening! i\'m just bummed because it was the first nye since i was 16 that i haven\'t done something besides sit at home. all of my favoritest bands were either too far away (8 hours+) or not doing anything. and since i\'m a much bigger fan of small shows, the closer arena options all seemed like too much of an overly expensive hassle to bother with.

but maybe i\'m just getting old....

^^ they may not have played a show on 12/31 last year but the 12/30 show sounds fantastic and was def a top 10 show from 2006. the night before at bill\'s bar was a blast too.

and screw waiting for moe. to finish their new years eve show. id much rather see a 2-3 set breakfast show to ring in the new year.

There are a few things that are on the brink for the future since the addition of Striker. There is a band/crew meeting on Tuesday next week and if anything is talked about, you all will be some of the first to know.

I know the band probably has to book shows with lots of time in advance but it makes me sad to think of NYV plans. I am still in summer mode. but, at last there is SURE to be something fun to look forward to!:) Ill keep my eyes open.I am excited for all the shows comming up with Matt.the band sounds awsome!!but always they did.

there is no information in this.. and this is not Chris F either.
