It was fun! as I expected it would be!

thats what I am saying, I already know of a dozen places where I can leave the tickets and not to mention all the Toad\'s Place shows that are coming up before that we can promote at.

ever since i have found out and realized what "I" loved about music (which took up the time period from when I was a junior in high schoo (91/92). through my first MMW and Hubinger St shows, till my first Phish show in Fall of 99 (which was the same Fall 99 where I first saw Psychedelic Breakfast, I have always felt blessed to be so close to such amazing musical talent and creation.........its a great era to be a music fan in New Haven county period

I performed Welcome to the Jungle last time we went out for karaoke, swinging the microphone overhead throughout the performance.
YiKES!! But...figures! ;)
I also performed as much of the music video as I could recall at that moment, including the part when Axle is on his knees, screaming into the microphone.
GTB, GNR cover band, Blah Blah Collective, etc....it\'s a good time to be a Breakfast side project fan!

This project is being unofficially billed as Johnny Upstates Fantasy Band V. 1.0 in regards to how it developed......
Adrian put the actual players into place and worked out a setlist. I believe everyone was told to learn the tunes. With the caliber of musicians we are dealing with, I dont think it is going to be to hard for them to run the tunes by themselves and then play an hour set. The rhythm section alone is enough to hold this thing together tightly........
Unfortunately Adrian felt that if you werent born before the release of Use Your Illusion 1 & 2 then youre probably not ready for this, otherwise I am sure there would have been a Caitlen Kalafus in the mix......
Either way it should be an interesting night, especially to see Save dressed in 80\'s rock bass player garb.......

The Guns and Roses coverband that was scheduled to play Toads this coming Wednesday has canceled their gig. So instead of throwing the night away, Toads owner Brian, asked our own Johnny Upstate to help him figure out what the next move should be.........Ellis immediately called Adrian and asked him if he would be interested in putting together a band to cover GnR for an evening.
So Adrian made a few calls and this is what its gonna look like
Adrian - Drums
Ron - Bass
Chris Kalafus - Guitar
George Lisew (of the Blah Blah Collective)- Guitar
Jacob - Vocals
and of course Greg Ellis on lights.....
They are scheduled to take the stage at 11:30pm this coming Wednesday night at Toads Place.......
