Nah, I don\'t dose, but I\'m at that level 24/7, unzing away like an astral pirate.

this isn\'t the lineup from friday/saturday...or the lineup that will be at camp...but a different lineup altogether...tnd/benevento/russo/murphy (from sts9).  i imagine if the recordings do show up, they\'ll be here

i\'m pretty sure saturday night was taped, as well as the philly TLA show on friday night... not sure if the shows are up for download quite yet, but i\'ll keep ya posted... these guys will be at Camp but I don\'t think Magner & Brownie will be sittin in (i think it\'s a couple guys from Brothers Past instead - correct me if i\'m wrong!).

Yes you are right.  At Camp Bisco, Tom Hamilton and Clay Parnell of Brothers Past will play with them as The Join

Its gonna be sick...

lol he\'s not a stalker... i\'ve actually seen him in passing at every single biscuits & biscuits related side project show i\'ve attended over the past year, but i just assumed he didn\'t recognize me. guess i was wrong!

Went to check these guys out on Saturday night in NYC - what a show! For those who don\'t know these guys, The JOIN consists of Darren Shearer and Jamie Shields from the New Deal, and for this show, featured Aron Magner and Mark Brownstein from the Disco Biscuits. Thus, as one can probably infer, the show was pretty dancy and electronic. There was a really nice mix of New Deal and Biscuits style, along with at least 1 original that was really tight. They had a great dynamic and put on a fantastic show. Even opened the show with a cover of a MSTRKRFT tune.... hot ****!

What really excited me, however, was the growing excitement for Camp Bisco. I was approached by a kid who I recognized from the NuGroove Festival last summer, at which the Breakfast played. I remember during "Rufus" this kid randomly came up to me with a huge smile on his face, and announced "this is my first Rufus!!!!" and scampered off. It was a cool moment. So here, 1 year later in NYC, this kid recognizes me and proclaims his excitement that the Breakfast will be playin Camp this year. It was really cool, it was really encouraging, and I think the Biscuits/Breakfast union is going to be a very synergistic one.
