Haha, I was thinking maybe I was totally wrong about there being a Breakfast song on that show, but I guess not if other people remember it! :D

I LOVED the Maxx and Daria!  I wish the Maxx would come out on DVD...and that show that was on really late, Undressed, loved that too!  Actually, didn\'t they play a Breakfast song on that show once?

The question to this poll is what MTV show could you not miss?

I could miss them all and not have a second thought.

Me to! putting into consideration I havent heard of any of them.I am definatly getting rid of cable.I think MTV is crap now to be honest. If I ever even put TV on its to watch Vh1 classics or TVLand cus I love 70s tv shows.Come to think of it,I kinda want to shoot my television!:)

Reason this thread exists. Watching Vh1 late last night after driving home from OC and 120 minutes was on.

On an unrelated note. MTV did kill real music.

The idea that you have to be good looking etc to make it. These were a plus in the pre-MTV days but since, it is the most important thing. It trumps talent for the most part.

How many classic rock bands would even be given a chance today ?

How much M is there in MTV these days (or even over the last decade)?  Music Televison: quite the misnomer.

Jenny McCarthy was on Singled Out.  as was Carmen Electra after her.

MTV is and pretty much always has been faggotry.

thats nonsense.

the channel gave us Beavis and Butthead, Remote Control, the Tom Green Show, Buzzkill, Sifl and Olly, the Jon Stewart Show, Punk\'d, Loveline, the Real World(seasons 1-3), Celebrity Deathmatch, My So Called Life, the State, Alternative Nation, and Rich Girls

given the \'retro-ness\' of this thread, TRL should probably be Dial MTV instead.

I hadn\'t really watched any of these shows. I never was really into MTV but the one that I remember is Yo! MTV Raps and TRL. Sad I know.

I can remember staying up late to see the very first time they played Dre Day on Yo! MTV
Raps.  Ed Lover is the man, and they had some great guests: Flava Flav, ODB, Busta Rhymes, etc.

The only show that was ever quality on MTV was Remote Control.  All the rest is/was/will be crap.

:that:

without remote control, there would be no Adam Sandler, Denis Leary or Colin Quinn.

however, since I don\'t watch MTV anymore.  I wouldn\'t miss any of them.

I believe that I\'m out of their target demographic.
