As for who\'s the master of the web... well I got a little server farm of my own, hosting ~250 sites, some of them with millions of hits, and many of which I designed... so that\'s probably me

i want cached text i posted years ago (and have since edited out of a post) deleted off the site entirely. it still shows up in a google search.

who handles that?

How long ago did you delete it? Takes a while for the google robots to crawl through sites and update all the information.

If there is a sitemap.xml file in the /httpdocs/ directory of the server (maybe different dir if it\'s not a Linux server) you can tell the robots how often to come back and revist. But I doubt this site has that set up, so it may be up to Google and thusly you might just have to wait a while.

bd, i don\'t care about the hilarious content from a few years ago on .info so much. i used to really enjoy reading/wasting time here. however, i want there to be no trace of my email address on the site and it\'s still showing up in google searches. i deleted it out of the 2 posts that it was in and it still shows up as cached. if anyone can help out with removing this, i\'d really appreciate it. thanks.
