i guess this should be in the Phish 2009 thread, but i didn\'t want it to get buried. move it if need be, of course!

we\'ll be at the suburban extended stay about 2 non-highway miles from the mothership.

there is a friend of ours who is offering up his room at the Embassy Suites on the strip. it\'ll run ya about $700 for the weekend, though. but two beds and a pull out couch can make sharing it a reasonable expense.

i\'ll be at la quinta with 5 friends, .8 miles from the venue.

driving tomorrow night, hopefully getting there around mindnight.

for those of you who haven\'t seen - they are creating some sort of fence (?) for the weekend around the coliseum. russ bennett (guy behind phish fest\'s and roo\'s designs) has been spotted too.

as well - phish seems to be (at least temporarily) offering up specifically the MP3\'s to the hampton shows for FREE as a pre-order at livephish right now..just pre-ordered all three days. (edit: now it\'s official @ livephish)

just to add to the insanity, there\'s a bluegrass \'conference\' going on at the holiday inn on the strip, too! i\'ll definitely be checking out some of the the music or workshops at some point....

That\'s pretty cool of them. I\'ll be checking these out from home in Clifton, NJ. Marching in the St. Paddy\'s Day Parade in Nutley. I\'ll be the one decked out in all green with "absolutely" no orange on and carrying my starry plough flag!

they said they would only be available for a limited time, so grab them as soon as you can

i\'ll be at the residence inn in newport news, farther away from the venue than i wanted, but have a 2 bedroom suite/kitchen, so it makes up for it

I pre-ordered all three, but it only says 3/6/09 on my printout. Have yet to get a confirmation email. Worth trying.

i would suggest finding a non-64 way to get from your hotel to the coliseum, if at all possible. of course, you probably know that already, huh?!

ya, they are full of ****. cause they moved my friend due to this, then another friend booked the same hotel 10mins later for more $$ than waht people booked at a while back
