not to mention even clicking on the thread to begin with. talk about giving no
**** at all! one might even say that you give
negative amounts of
****.. excellent work!
Congrats, Doughboy Dave! Good to see that someone is defying the negative returns associated with gambling.
In other news, I saw your friend Kevin Smith in S.F. yesterday.
wow I wish I had the cajones to gamble because it sure looks fun...
no offense meant dave.
my brother always runs into my room to tell me about the miraculous hand he just had. it basically just flows into one ear and out the other until he\'s done. i just smiled and nod and say \'thatta boy\' and he gets back to his gambling.
it doesn\'t really take much cajones to gamble online. you can play $1 tournaments and if you\'re good enough can walk away w/ a decent buck.
But... I don\'t want to lose even one lousy dollar...
my best friend has made a living off of it the last 4/5 months.. he plays in huge $20 buy-in tourneys and has banked about 8 grand from it.. pools of over 2000 people top 20 numerous times. my point, hes really good and really not proud of it, it just pays his bills right now and its a terrible addiction. he knows the bottom will drop out big in some way if he continues and gets sucked in to high stakes. i enjoy a friendly tournament here and there if im losing only $20 and posibly winning a couple hundred, but i like MY money in MY pocket, not on a table.
but hey, thats pretty sweet dave.. funny thing ive only had quads twice in my life and both times they were 10\'s.. weird??
nice hand Dave.
I\'ve all but given up on online poker, maybe I need to switch sites. Its become more or less \'something to do\'. I don\'t even play to win aymore. Instead of playing smaller stakes and winning a little every day, I tend to deposit $50 now and then and waste it away on silly tournaments I know I won\'t win, like WPT qualifying tournaments and such, but if I do happen to win won it\'ll be exciting. guess i\'m more or less playing to win big or don\'t win at all
