So I get in my car a few minutes ago, planning on leaving for class.... Go to put the key in the ignition... and discover that my key isn\'t even ON my keychain anymore. What the hell?

So now I\'m stranded here.

And going to miss a test.

anybody take your key to start up your car the other day. you have to figure it\'s somewhere at your house because the car hasn\'t moved. you find it eventually......

well....a few sarcastic,antagonistic,down right mean remarks went through my head....but i\'d like to live through the next time i see you so i\'ll go with....oh man that sucks, what a drag, hope it all works out for you.....oh yeah....and try getting a spare key made for 5 bucks!

joc-that **** sucks. we\'ve all been there. i hope you don\'t go crazy trying to find your key (which is what i usually do). you would think that after losing my keys on several occasions i might just get a **** spare made one of these days.

as shitty as this situation may be, i can\'t help but laugh at leprechauns and underpants gnomes...

Meh. It wasn\'t THAT shitty. Just weird really.

My poor mother drove over my spare which for some reason was at my parents\' house. In return for which I had to shovel their front path/back steps etc.

Jon actually found the key in my house late last night. The plastic had actually broken so it fell off of the ring. No idea how that came about.

Pretty much all I can think about now is that video from Alabama or wherever where all of the locals are going nuts about some leprechaun supposedly living in a tree.

you\'re just lucky it was in the house and not out in the yard somewhere burried in the snow never to be found again.

like my spare set did last winter at the apartment.

Yeah, always make spare sets. I recommend even two. I learned my lesson in 2003 after i kept locking my keys in the car. I dont know why, it just was a bad year for that. The AAA guys were beginning to hate me.
