Actually could not agree more w/ this statement. The thing is alot of the mudslinging does not affect whether people live or die. The fact that Bush sent our men and women to die under a false pretense just straight SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

U just seem to be riding me lately and I ain\'t no horse. Sorry if i snapped. u r rite on this subject mainly because it is a huge sore spot for me. Here\'s the big revelation: i voted for that damn liar over Gore and than as soon as my vote is cast the machinations were in place to steal the election and then the man ( who is 1/2 the man his father is) went and started not 1 but 2 wars. What the **** is that? I am an independent and vote for the lesser of 2 evils such as they are. This year the lesser evil is a bonafide war hero( Kerry ) and Bush is plainly the Devil in this one.

I\'m sorry if it seemed like I was picking on you. *sigh* It was not intentional. I think everyone on this forum does a pretty good job of giving me a hard time though!

I am an ind. as well, with a slight inclination towards libertarian, and, chosing the least offensive politician is also my strategy as well. It\'s about all one can do really. And Leith of course I agree with you about Bush; sometimes he makes me so angry I could hurt someone, sometimes he just makes me want to cry....

Oh, so now you are saying that WE started the war with Afghanistan?  I guess you must have forgotten about that whole September 11th thing, huh?  Or is that just another one of those "excuses" to go bomb them too?  They were providing a safe haven for the people who calculatingly murdered 3,000 of our innocent CIVILIANS.  **** them and the goat they rode in on.  We went EASY on them.

 Come on now think a minute.  if you knew anything about the history of the U.S\'s dirty dealings in the middle east you would know that we as a country have been begging for this for years. Terrorism has been a regular part of life in the middle east and since we want to meddle in their affairs, they just let us see what "regular life for them " is like.  If you want to support the U.S. and it\'s blind support of Israel than accept the fact that you will have terror threat indicators the rest of your life. I know alot of people may disagree but facts is facts. We brought this on ourselves and all Americans should be upset w/ our Gov. for that no matter who happens to be in office!!!!!!!!!!

Ah, I see, a political choice on our part, gives them the right to intentionally kill our civilians.  Is that what they teach you out on the west coast?  LOL!  Come on dude, get serious.  At least our government does not purposely kill innocent people.... they may kill them unintentionally if they get in the way, but we do not target civilians.  We didn\'t "ask" for anything... they asked, and now, they are getting what they asked for.  THANK GOD there is a REPUBLICAN in office right now!
