SO let\'s help each other to save money and try new snacks and such

So today I had some pepperoni slices, provolone, and a little marinara.
Rolled the above ingredients into a flour tortilla wrapped in foil baked at 350 for like 15 min. and YUM pizza roll!

Nice, but come on I know you got some leftover food tricks you\'re keepin\' to yourself.

I made chicken salad for the first time not too long ago. Nothing complex about it, take your leftovers, dice them, mix with mayonnaise and garnish with anything you want, I used sun dried tomatoes, some basil, celery and mushrooms. Put that on a spinach wrap with some provolone =

perfect lunch right there. I\'ve also started making cheesecakes. Made two so far, a oreos crumbs cake and a juniors strawberry cake. Those take a long time to make, but man they taste good!

no, those were both from scratch, but how many threads do we have about cooking? figured I\'d post it anyway.

1 can of black beans ($0.59)
1 can of corn ($0.33)
1 box of 4 cheese rice ($1.00)
1 small onion ($0.60)
1 small tomato ($0.50)
1.5 lbs chicken fingers ($3.50)
flat bottom taco shells/tortilla wraps

shredded cheese
salsa
sour cream
teriyaki sauce
soy sauce

Dice up the onion (to liking) and cook in teriyaki sauce with a splash of soy sauce.
Cut all the chicken up into small 1\' by 1\' pieces and cook with onions.
On the side cook black beans and corn (together or seperate)
On the side cook the 4 cheese rice.

When all of the above is done you will have enough food for 2 people for at least 2 meals. I cook this for myself and Brittany once a week and it will last us dinner that night, lunch the next day and dinner the next night as well. I\'ll mix it up and eat chicken one night, rice wraps for lunch the next day then finish up the chicken for dinner the next night. This entire meal is easy to do and it only costs about $12-$15 depending on side items.

Taco night is a necessity as it\'s mostly good for you (chicken instead of beef) and it\'s cheap. I\'m sure everyone does their tacos/wraps differently though.

Personally, I have no leftover food "tricks" that I can recall right now. But I do like the challenge of seeing the left overs, using as many of them as I can to create a delicious meal.

Next time I will try and remember, most of spur of the moment.
Love many, trust few and don\'t be late.

Mixing old mold (cheese) and new mold (leftovers) is always fun.
