... is **** godaweful. Are you guys getting a huge icestorm down there? Thank goodness I left New Haven at 6 yesterday instead of opting to continue drinking beer there for no reason. That would have been a terrible drive home when the rain turned to ice.

Every couple of minutes there is a big crash as branches come down. (Then my dog barks for 10 minutes.) I lose power like once an hour. This will continue until tomorrow from the looks of things. Ugh. Great day off. I can\'t even go anywhere.

Glad I have a wood stove and a lot of books.

it\'s pretty much just cloudy (with chance of meatballs) and dreary here. i was worried about the ice storm coming through this way, but i guess we\'re okay!

sorry it\'s so shitty out joce...i hate being stranded in rough weather conditions but can\'t really complain since i haven\'t seen more than like a 1/4 inch of snow so far this year. at least you stll have the world wide web to get you by...

Good Ol\' CT Weather:

Winter doesn\'t actually show up until late January and when it does, I have already had my pipes freeze three times, including one breaking (which, thanks to being a renter rather than an owner, I didn\'t have to pay for). And, for the record, if it\'s going to be eight **** degrees, I would at least like some snow so my Physics of Sound and Music class is canceled every once in a while.

Though maybe I\'m just bitching because a botched Indy extra point ruined my chances at hitting a square (not the dotINFO squares).

I here ya. -9 this morning when I went to work, about -5 now. The heat wave is coming, supposed to get up to around 3 degrees today.

Hmm... I\'m suprised to see the emissions are so bad here. We don\'t even have that many cars, with the exception of the one road that goes into Nashua.

usually the reasoning is winds pushing bad emissions in from another city.... boston.

It happened back in the early 90\'s also when I think stamford had one of the worst pollution record in the country and they found that it was all of nyc\'s pollution on tradewinds crossing the test zones in connnecticut.

yah, my girls dogs won\'t even go outside unless they REALLY need to. they stand there and look back at you like you have 6 heads and they want to bite them all off
