i\'d pay to see StephenGencs vs. Spacey if it was a pool of grease from the bacon/sausage delight.
maybe an igzi vs. Yoda opener?
pfftt... like yoda has the leash to make it out to breakfest. if i have to i\'ll make my own match.
So we\'re almost 5 months through the year and TB has played 10 shows (2/month). I can\'t complain that they don\'t play near me because, well, it\'d most likely be on a week night and I wouldn\'t go... So, I will give them a compliment, in 10 shows, they\'ve played in 5 states; that\'s a pretty impressive variety... Not gonna lie, I\'ve pretty much lost interest in what they are or are not doing... I love the music, but the passion isn\'t behind TB, so I\'ll leave it at that...
well, this makes me sad. I guess I understand. I think they are going to persevere and come through stronger than ever. And all of these dates that Kung Fu are playing will become Breakfast gigs, or at least more balanced. yeah, yeah, I know, tell me to go back and keep smoking, but without faith we are nothing.
well, lets face it, d\'angelis was away for 3 weeks, in which breakfast shows got changed to kung fu gigs and plus they got a good bunch of festivals coming up including their own fest. I really didn\'t want this thread to become a state of the breakfast debate, because the breakfast is has and always will be. but that being said, # of shows aside, the percentage of greatness per show is off the charts, so if you can\'t go out of your way to see them, then its your loss.
I really didn\'t want this thread to become a state of the breakfast debate
i agree. i think you were just trying to stir some interesting convo/jokes. the breakfast debate is old and beaten. we all have argued it both ways over and over a gazillion times. people will never change their opinions on it. we have the ones that are diehards, we have the ones that think the band is going downhill, and we have the ones that don\'t care either way.
you need to change the title of this thread to: this place is predictable.
I could have assumed it would have traveled down this road.
in our vs competition, can we have a street basketball game? Leith vs Gregg? I\'d like to see what skills you both have beyond your words.
no dice, i don\'t ball. esp w/ my back injury, its liable to get severely messed up after.
i\'d annihilate leith in one on one are you ser
kan jam, although that might be tuff with a bum back.
i can do kan jam like its my job. thats easy.
For all the discussion about Bfast not playing enough, they play the northeast more than most touring bands do. If they were big and successful, you would see them less often than you do now as they would be on the road much of the time and would be more strategic about playing big shows back home (as well as other cities) to prevent oversaturation.
if i wanted to talk about the breakfast i\'d have put this in the proper section of dot info.
Yoda, ladies and gentlemen!!!
Ruining threads, breakfast shows, and friendly relationships since 2001. (But he\'ll tell you it was better in \'99)
