anything moving at speed x and then pushed forward via another force, y, will now travel at a combined speed of x+y.

aka if a hand gun fires at a speed of 700mph, and I\'m in a car that\'s going 100 mph, the bullet will leave the gun at a speed of 800mph.

This guy goes to appeal his prison sentence for raping and killing a 13 year old, and the review board ADDS 6 years to his sentence. This makes me proud of CT. Hope he dies in prison.

Hartford (AP) - An appeal has backfired for a former New Milford man serving a 36-year prison sentence for the gang **** and murder of a 13-year-old girl in 1997.

Ronald Rajcok appealed to the State Judicial Review Division to reduce his sentence, but a three-judge panel instead decided this week to add six more years to his prison term because of how brutal the killing was.

The judges voted 2-1 to impose the maximum 42-year sentence allowed by law.

Rajcok and seven other people were convicted of killing Maryann Measles. The teenager was kidnapped from a New Milford grocery store parking, ****, strangled and wrapped in a blanket, then dumped in the Housatonic River. Her body was found months later floating in Lake Lillinonah.

Rajcok\'s lawyer says he is stunned by the judges\' decision and plans an appeal.

my friend lacy from work, married, 2 young kids, got the vacation time, booked the hotels, had her husband get 4 new tires and hit the road this morning for disneyworld. CT >FLA.

just got the textmessage, flat tire. didn\'t hit anything, it just ripped right off while going down the road. I told her to keep it and complain to the place that you bought it from as defective. :doh:
