My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Stevie, I love you my man. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your dad.
Thank you to everyone for your kind thoughts and words......
Basically what happened was a bleeding ulcer caused him to lose a real lot of blood which in turn but a huge strain on his heart. He is currently in ICU at Bridgeport Hospital where they are working on stopping the bleeding and getting the fluid out of his lungs. Once that has been taken care of they will then address the heart issues which is looking like some sort of bypass and valve surgury........
Healing love and light is coming your way my friend.
sending you love, stevie.
hopes and prayers that everything gets well.
Thinking of you and your dad, Steve.
Gencs, sorry to hear this, hope everything goes ok. I know were far away, but if there\'s anything we can do, just let us know
andy & nicole
guys again, thank you so much for the kind words and all the support and thoughts......
just as an update for those interested in rare medical occurances.......what the doctors had originally speculated was a bleeding ulcer in his stomach, actually turned out to be an artery which popped through into his stomach just gushing blood with every heart pump......the GI doctor called it something (actually named after the doctor that discovered it). So that was quarterized and it is appearing that his blood counts have stabalized. also the pump that was assisting his heart in pumping blood was removed and his blood pressure has stabalized as well.......this is truly the first real speck of good news since this whole ordeal began..........thanks again and hopefully Senior Gencs is on the road to getting on the road to recovery....
Much love to all out in Breakfast-land...without you guys, i would have been gone a long time ago.......
glad to hear of the new diagnosis which sounds more easily treatable. stay up. much love.
i hope senior is on the road to recovery. you\'re a wonderful son to be there with him thru it all.
sending you lotsa love stevie!!
Glad to hear some positive news. Keep us updated. Love you!
great news and good luck!
Glad to hear things might be turning the corner! Stay positive!
Just got some good news from Steve. They were comfortable enough with his fathers progress to remove his breathing tube. I\'m sure he still has a long recovery road ahead of him, but it\'s good to hear that he is still taking steps in the right direction.
