Band 311, Former Creed Singer Fight In Baltimore Hotel
BALTIMORE -- Former Creed singer Scott Stapp and members of the band 311 spent their Thanksgiving fighting in a Baltimore hotel.

Chad Sexton, drummer for 311, said they ran into Stapp earlier last Thursday without incident at the Harbor Court hotel.

Sexton said he and bandmates S.A. Martinez and P-Nut were watching basketball in the hotel bar when Stapp returned later. Sexton said Stapp stepped in front of the screen and said, "311, I am ready to fight."

Sexton said they tried to defuse the situation and Stapp went to the bar. He said Stapp later made inappropriate comments to Martinez\'s wife and suddenly hit Sexton in the face.

Sexton said a fight broke out. Martinez broke a finger and security guards had to break up the brawl. Police were called, but no arrests were made.

Jonathan Jordan, director of hotel security, said the incident was captured on security cameras and that Stapp was attacked by the members of 311. In his words, "It was definitely started by 311."

Stapp\'s representatives would not comment on the incident.

i would love to see that footage

311 was a great influence on me back in the early nineties.  Although as of late things have seemed to go commercial and the music has suffered.  They are admitted huge Phish fans.  Go listen to the album "Music" or catch a live show and then tell me you don\'t like them.  My guess is you would enjoy!

^i will agree that they used to be decent like 10 years ago. the only cd i ever had  was the one with fire on it/blue cover (no clue what the name of it was) and that was a loooonnnggg time ago. never really got too into them though.

i think everyone\'s missing the bigger picture here, and that\'s that joe harryhooood has posted twice now in the past week!

Things are starting to slow down here at work, so now I have a little more time to spend goofing off and browsing .info again.  No internet connection at the new apartment yet, so my only means of posting is my computer here at the store.  Don\'t worry, though.  Pretty soon I, much like Scott Stapp\'s alcohol addiction, will be back in full force.
