does anyone know some great places in the northeast to go white water rafting?
i\'ve been put in charge of planning the best camping trip ever with some friends this summer..

this place is THE bomb. Dave and Donna (owners) are awesome people. Camping is right on the Dead River. (Only company right on the river, I believe) This is where your trip ends, if you choose to go down the Dead. Kennebec River is cool too. But if you catch one of the first dam releases, The Dead is better. If you have I think 6 or more people, you\'ll have your own raft, which leads to more craziness in the holes. All the guides are cool ass heads. If you decide to go there, hint that you\'ll be up late drinking beer and they\'ll try to keep you away from the "families" ;) Good luck!!!

that place is awesome!! i actually went rafting on the kennebec 2 times when i was just a little lass in sleepaway camp back in the day...maybe that will be the spot. thanks mr. todd k. anderson
