probably because they are both holding it like those big camcorders that had to rest on your shoulder. grip it it with your fingers pointing down rather than up and hold it lower. and not being used to shooting video is probably also part of the problem.

even if its the same quality in standard and hi def its still cheaper than anything else, probably better quality than my 3 year old camcorder and would be great additional camera to use on stage in a place where i couldnt get at it to change a tape during a breakfast set. like a drum camera or something.

and it would save me time because tapes take forever to transfer onto the hard drive. i will probably still buy it or something similar if i find it at that price when i have the money to spend.

maybe duane will let you borrow his daughters.

After finding this same camera for only 10 bucks more than the woot one-day deal http://www.buy.com/prod/polaroid-dvc-00725f-high-definition-digital-camcorder-flash-memory/q/loc/111/209850038.html i\'ve decided not to purchase it.  The impulse has worn off and after reading many reviews, watching the youtube vid Dave uploaded, and searching around the web for other camcorders, I am now looking at the Sony MHS-CM1 "Webbie HD".
