  You got me all wrong... I\'m not bitchin\' about Yoda in particular, he may be a great guy, don\'t even know him besides what I see in the threads.  Others do seem rather put out by his posts, I must admit.  I only recently started posting on the site as you well know and to be honest I have seen quite a few negative posts in the short time I\'ve been paying attention.  I just really don\'t want to hear all the negative **** day after day about a band who\'s music is phenomenal, in my humble opinion, no matter what problems they have, it\'s been a big part of my life for a good many years & will be as long as they\'re making it.  As far as I can tell the site\'s for fans (we all know what a fan is, no need to dissect the word again).  I never expected you to care if I\'m pissed & don\'t worry I won\'t get bent over any posts, by anyone, I got bigger fish to fry, trust me.  Everyone has a right to post what they want (so I hear), I wouldn\'t mind at all if he posted again, but nobody wants to hear all the negative all the time... life\'s short.  I admit I may have gone off a little in my last rant, I apologize, but I\'m not the only one who feels we should all go a little easier on the boys, they\'re doing what they can with what they\'re delt... I\'m sure of it.  Oh yeah, the BBQ was great... thanks

Bret - If you\'re from the Boston area, we\'ve actually met on a handful of occasions.  I believe the first time we met was at the Good Times Emporium.  They played Peace Frog and Dave got to run the lights...

I went on a self hiatus because I needed a break from the constant bashing for holding a realistic vision rather than Jimmy Jones Kool-Aid drinking frame of mind.  I posted in this thread because I thought it was stupid and the fact that people continued to write drivel or argue over this was stupid and trivial... If I\'ve made you laugh today, that\'s great... If you\'re having a laught at my expense, then you\'re creating the same negativity that you claimed I was constantly bringing to the site....

hey wow, you don\'t have to explain yourself to me. I was very much enjoying the silence. And when you start a response off with a retort how are you not perpetuating the meaningless cycle yourself. If i gave you a hug would it make everything better?
