No, not in my house. I went today and picked out this pup for my parents:

So sweet, and incredibly adorable. I got to meet both parents, which was great. They are smart and gentle, I hope this guy turns out to be the same.

He gets to come home on the 18th. My parents are going to be away off and on for the next few months, which means I get to steal their puppy.

yayyyyyy

I\'ll post a couple more pictures when I get them developed.

They\'re going back and forth between Alvin, Simon, or Malcolm. I\'m for Malcolm.

I think they will decide once I have brought him over, so they can get a better sense of his personality. From what I can determine, he is very sweet, and a bit mischievous. So I think any of those names would be fine.

I have had puppy envy for a while now, so I am glad my parents will be getting one. They only live 20 minutes away, so I can bring Sadie over for play dates whenever. :)

I love the color of his fur!  What breed of dog is it?

Paul, regarding the camera... &^%^%#&^$%! I had one damnit!

He is a brindle (that\'s the color) labradoodle. What? I know, right? He;s part labrador retriever, part standard poodle. It\'s a pretty cool combination because their coat doesn\'t shed and it\'s easy on allergies, labs are sweet, poodles are wicked smaht, and they\'re **** cute as all hell. Also, because they are a mixed breed, they tend to live longer and be healthier than purebred dogs.

The two pics w/out me in them are from a couple of weeks ago; he was a bit smaller then.

Hope he doesn\'t get the Lab brains.  My family has 3 and they\'re all dumb as a box of rocks (which may say more about their owners... ;-).

A friend of mine has a labradoodle that\'s pretty bright, and HUGE.  He got standard poodle height w/ the Lab girth.  Very fun dog, but he\'ll knock you on your ass.

Well, his father is a standard poodle and his mom is half poodle, half lab, so I think the poodle brains will prevail.

And yeah, I think he is going to be a decent size. The males can be anywhere from 50-80 lbs., but he\'s one of the biggest pups in the litter, and the size of his paws makes me think he\'ll be at the heavier end of the spectrum. His has some big ol\' paws for sure. I love them.

My family got a Chocolate Labradoodle last summer. His name is Harley. He\'s 50+ pounds, he looks like a giant brown mop, he\'s got green eyes, he\'s got the personality of a harmless, loving dumb jock, and he\'s absolutely darling. He also has the biggest paws (proportionally) I\'ve seen on a dog. I love Harley. I miss his funky breath.

That sure is a cutie Jocelyn.

Did you put Soul-Glo on his face?

The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash
