I bought a Macbook and i want to install microsoft office, or at least microsoft word.  anyone know of any good sites that would have such things (preferably free)?  i\'ve looked download.com but i don\'t want to install anything unnecessary or that doesn\'t work.  thanks!!

go to openoffice.org and get the mac version of open office. its not microsoft office, but their  program is free and it does the same thing as microsoft office and the documents you create are compatible with microsoft office.

It should work.

When you go to save, there should be a check compatibility button.
