 mmm, peanut butter and jelly
:sigh: I love peanut butter, but we have a student at my school who is allergic to nuts (life threatening) and so there can\'t be ANY possible contamination in the building e.g., I can\'t bring in any peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch
This rule also means no birthday celebrations, or pizza parties. Now we must have "arts and craft" parties instead! :wah:
that\'s crazy, to make everyone else suffer because of one kid......
yea, that kids a jerk. They should just let him die from an allergic reaction so that you have more options at lunch. :sigh:

F that why should i suffer just because some kid can\'t eat pb&j, Darwinism at it\'s finest. If your that worried about it live in a bubble but don\'t mess with my personal freedom just because of one kid
Sorry Charlie
:wah:
I\'m going to just agree to disagree and walk away.
I just had a pb&j for lunch in honor of the "nutcase" kid.

don\'t go near Robyn at lunch you don\'t want to infect that kid in her school.... better yet i don\'t think you should eat for fear of that kid having an allergic reaction.......
I\'m going to take a peanut butter bath and then go visit her school :muahaha:

:wah: Getting pretty rediculous - this morning, I just taught a math lesson on dividing a solid in half. I used apples ...the principal said I could
use them, but couldn\'t have the kids
eat them. :wtf2:
Thats because the school doesn\'t make any money off of fresh fruit or produce. If you had simply used the vending machines located all around your school and had the kids each buy a snickers, twix, etc bar and then broken them in half there would have been no problem. Plus you would be contributing to the growing diabetes epidemic in this country, which in turn will pump money into our health care system by causing people to need more medicines and have to go to the doctor more often, which would drive up insurance rates, which would drive down the amount people take home each week post tax while supporting the school by helping to support candy companies, plus you could have shown them how all the money is now gone because they had less to begin with because of higher health costs, shaping them into good little consumers. You could then use it as another way to show them fractions, introducing them to how much that candy bar will cost them at 20% instrest on a credit card if they only pay the mininum balance each month.
It\'s really your own fault robyn, you should have been fired for trying to use fresh fruit. What were you thinking?

Longest sentence of the year award?
Oh...and they can\'t have candy bars in the school...they may contain peanuts.
with commas though it\'s still grammatically correct. Look at that, I learned something from reading finnegan\'s wake.
Ok, no one here will get that one.
