Bruce Springsteen will once again celebrate Christmas in his adopted hometown of Asbury Park, NJ. On December 19, Springsteen will close out his touring season with a charity performance at the intimate Henry\'s Roadhouse, a far cry from his usual arena and stadium stops. Billed as a "Christmas Jam featuring Bruce Springsteen with Bobby Bandiera and Friends," this year\'s festivities will also likely feature a parade of special guests and rare covers. Last year, the Boss hosted a holiday themed charity stand at Asbury Park\'s Convention Center, which featured appearances by Danny DeVito, Willie Nile and Jon Bon Jovi, in addition to members of Springsteen\'s E Street Band.

In the Boss\'s latest effort to revive the ailing resort town, fans who buy tickets from local merchants listed on http://www.asburyguild.com between now and December 18 will have the opportunity to win free passes to the show and to attend an intimate meet-and-greet. Last year, Springsteen hosted a raffle for a chance to join the performer onstage for a reading of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." Though I did have some fun times with Deblock back in the day, Springsteen is not my man.

I can\'t believe Deblock is still chasing Weak-Steen around. If he went through some life transformation, you would think that Springsteen would get ditched before Breakfast.

Springsteen puts on an incredible show. If you have the chance to see him, do it. I saw him for the first time last year at Shea Stadium and was very impressed.

Springsteen and The E St. Band put on a great show. Quite a few yrs ago I saw Springsteen solo and no lie started to fall asleep and I think Bruce is one of the most underrated great Songwriters to come from the USA. He was just blah w/ little to no back up . I remember a guy on drums for a song or two or maybe I dreamed that part. lol
