Author Topic: How are Gypsies different from Taints? (Read 5599 times)

From what I gather on the board the only real difference is Gypsies try and smoke decent weed and only give off a faint wook odor while Taints will smoke what they can get and smell as if they were a sleeping bum and Wah had stumbled across them after a night of slamming brews and his dinner was not agreeing with him and then Gencs came along after a Bfast show and wrung out his shirt on them.

Am I wrong?

Gypsies originated when a bunch of New Hampshire kids stayed with us during the 4/20 run last year.

Taints are something that originated out of the whackovilla of the House of 1000 Taints at the Mudshark Mansion.

Gypsies are from NH. Most of them still live there too. Taints live in the house of taint (mudshark mansion). Lots of gypsies do not have jobs and some don\'t have cars but somehow make it out to shows anyway (i.e. Bonzo & myself). Gypsies do not necessarily smoke better weed, and often don\'t have any weed whatsoever (keep in mind this is a broad generalization lots of gypsies do have the headies), but leith you are correct about the wook smell factor. There are many other differences...

Gypsies- Noun- devote followers of progressive funk rock band "The Breakfast", natives of new hampshire, low on monetary income and show-going supplies (i.e. booze, marijuana, "hard drugs", cars, gas money), known to swarm upon a location and within hours drain that area of said show-going supplies, and often, floor space.... normally unable to legally attend 21+ shows, and normally refuses to smoke "nooker"
Examples: Gfunk, Bonzo, Hippie Max

Taints-Noun- devote followers of progressive funk rock band "The Breakfast", known for raunch sense of humor, reside currently in the "Mudshark Mansion" in Willimantic, CT, more likely than gypsies to legally attend 21+ shows, well equipped with show going supplies, is willing to smoke "nooker", Known for creating "taintnames", in general smarter and better looking than gypsies
Examples- Lexington (taintface), Peaches626 (taintlicker), LightHeavyWeight (taintstain)

There was a whole lotta gypsies at the FF \'05 as well. not exactly sure when we were offically named, but we have been calling bonzo a gypsy for a long time.

I\'m sure the word existed prior to us labeling you but thats when I noticed it becoming mainstream usage. Not even romotely sure why the taints call themselves such.

i remember a thread some time back talking about definitions in Wilkapedia and from there i think the taints where formed
