I always think it\'s weird when people open christmas presents on christmas eve or whatever. But who am i to tell someone when to celebrate? However, people need to take their decorations down if they are still up after new years. It\'s bad enough that they go up earlier and earlier every year. I saw Christmas **** go up like right after halloween this year.

I don\'t understand how what I said could **** leith off but to each his own, as for nikki, it appears that anyone who disagrees with you is an ass? I\'d hate to be one of your students.

Are people seriously arguing/pissed off over this? It\'s getting hard to tell.

if there is any real irritation here then I would have to say that this is one of the most ridiculous, trivial arguments I have ever seen.

I agree. I will knife any inflatable decoration I see after sundown with the boxcutter I keep in my driver-side door pocket.

I just don\'t understand.... sure there are dates to "celebrate" but do you think those dates are the exact date..... no they are proposed holidays by some person that everyone now excepts. I celebrate an occurrence, a significant event in the history of man. Maybe Polocks are different, we pre-celebrate it, we celebrate it and we post celebrate it, you can\'t dedicate one day to something significant to your life. it\'s like the alternate theory of Valentines Day..... there shouldn\'t be one day where your obligated to do something nice for your significant other it should be an everyday thing and once in a while you do something special for the hell of it.

those are just my thoughts........

I get what you\'re saying there.

You did not **** me off. Usually a middle finger smilie might irk me but I thought it was funny you felt strong enough to use it.

Yes well it is there for self-protection. I doubt I will ever need it in Amherst, but I do a lot of traveling, some times to not the nicest places. (*cough*Webster*cough*)

It is there, easily and quickly accessible should I ever need it. I went for boxcutter because: 1) Is is heavy
2) You can pop the blade out as you\'re picking it up with no risk of hurting yourself (seeing as switchblades are illegal.... though EMS does have some nice "spring-assisted" knives- I\'ll probably get one of those in the near future.)
3) It has a lot of practical applications. I use it pretty regularly.
4) If I have to ditch it, no biggie, no big financial loss.
5) You can snap pieces of the blade off so you don\'t have to worry about washing off blood.
